for crew truck, supplies and equipment, provides

support and assists in directing of crew to

install, extend and repair underground water

main.

. Valve Box Restoration Crew Leader - directs crew

in installation and removal of street pits and

materials for road repairs and upgrades.

. Requires knowledge of masonry, concrete, and

asphalt repair. Write daily reports of

accomplished tasks and prepare weekly or

monthly status reports.

. Vac Truck Assistant - locate water leaks using sonic

detectors, read micro maps to locate underground

. Plant Operator Assistant - assists the plant operator

in day to day operations of a Class 5 Water Treatment

Purification Plant. WT-5 means serving a population

of 10,001 or more with quality drinking water daily.

Chemical, Residual, Dissolved Oxygen, Titration and

all other testing of water grab samples collected

hourly. Maintenance of pumps, equipment and

facilities. Preventive maintenance of pumps, sampling

equipment, feeder equipment and any 24/7 operations

system devices involved in those operations. Rotating

shift times were required on this position, due to

the 24/7 operations.
