responsible for the Operations of Power Plant during duty shift periods.
Responsibilities :
Fully in charge of power plant operations for duration of duty period
Manage and lead Operations Shift Group
In conjunction with Operations Superintendent ensuring the safe, reliable,
environmentally and commercially efficient operation of the plant
Proactively promote the continuous development of Operations Shift Group
technical knowledge and competencies during the mobilization, commissioning
and operational phases of the power plant.
Responsible for load Ansaldo Coal Boiler BMCR 500t/h. 95bar. 516 C -
Alstom Mills - DCS Symphony 7 ABB
Responsible for load of 3 STG - 40 MW, 91 bar MAIN STEAM, 120 flow - per
STG. Implement the preparation for BOP & Auxiliaries, signals check to DCS,
interlocks test. Boiler Start up & Turbine synchronized until 30% of
load(permissive condition to start coal firing) Alstom SM 18/11 Bowl Mills
with static classifier 23t/h. Instrument &signals to DCS check interlocks,
manual & auto start/shut down by sequence. Boiler starting and testing
with mixed firing,15% up to 100% of mill load. Mixed firing and transfer
from liquid fuel to coal fuel,3 mills in service. Running interlock manual
& sequence test for mills at minimal load. Full mill load testing &
measurements.
Adjusting the parameters of equipments, testing and adjusting the
parameters of process control according with logic description &diagram in
collaboration with DCS software engineers for BPS, BMS, Plant Coordinator
system 3 modes(Turbine follow, Boiler Follow, Coordinate ),etc.

Verta-Pro DCS
Ensuring the start up operations for the steam turbine s block after shut
down for repairing or accidental breakdown. Through knowledge of the start
up and shut down procedures in normal and emergency situations. Ensuring
the good functionality of the auxiliary installations: feed water, fuel,
steam units, etc. Controlling, during the shift, the entire plant, checking
status of the equipment, adjusting process parameters according to the
products quality. Start up designated equipment items to achieve normal
operating conditions, receiving instructions from shift supervisor to
perform field tasks. Regularly patrolling work area, observing operation
and performing routine and non-routine checks, inspections, instrument
readings, watching for irregularities such as leaks. Monitoring rotating
machinery, regularly checking bearing temperatures, vibrations,
lubrication, and noting standby machines in operation, reporting and
correcting abnormal startup and operating conditions to prevent damage to
equipment.

Involved in pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup in power plant
facilities: Piping system pre-commissioning works, air blowing, flushing,
cleaning, hydro testing, P&ID line walk, leak test, etc. Performing
commissioning activities for turbine (SKODA 125 mw - 140 bar - 530' c main
steam, 25 bar hot re-heater, 530 temp, -0.8 condenser vacuum). Inspecting
and commissioning new rotating equipments including vertical and horizontal
centrifugal pumps, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, to verify
eccentric rotor & bearings, HP Thrust Position, making on rotary: no load
run test/load test/full load run test. Boiler feed pump (BFP) auxiliary
lube oil/main pump lube oil and hydraulic line flushing and commissioning.
Boiler, turbine-generator and feed water systems pre-commissioning,
commissioning works, hydro test, boiler chemical cleaning, steam purge,
floating safety valves, turbine lube oil flushing, condensate extraction
and LP-HP feed water system flushing, CEP, HP & LP Heater, Gland Sealing on
pumps and valves, cleaning and blowing the Condenser etc. Fire protection
system, water and waste water system pre-commissioning, commissioning and
