QUALIFICATIONS:
* Effectively identify and evaluate disease prevention and health
promotion issues.
* Consult, collaborate and/or refer while working independently or
interdependently with members of the medical staff to include
interdisciplinary teams
* Provide age appropriate education to patients and their families
regarding diagnosis, preventive care, treatments, diagnostic
procedures, consultation, laboratory values and follow up care.
* Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
* Perform Simple Office Procedures-Suturing, Foreign Body Removal etc
* Determine levels of wellness for deployment and/or medical release
* Maintain patient privacy according to HIPAA guidelines
* Apply new knowledge, in clinical practice, gained from hands on
training, seminar and/or conferences
* Apply flexibility in the clinical area of Family Medicine, Women's
Health, Combat Readiness, and Education
* Provide effective learning in the classroom and clinical setting to
nursing students and healthcare personnel
* Able to apply knowledge in urgent and emergent conditions
