I have always excelled and gone beyond all

p revious records in all my endeavors. The very first job I had fresh out of high school

was at a paper mill, as I die cutter, I cut 980,000 number 10 envelopes in an 8 hour

shift; the previous record was 600,000 number 10 envelopes in 8 hours. I started in

t he car business June of 1982 in sales; as a salesman my very best year I sold 217

cars at an average gross of $1678.00 per unit. As an F & I manager I had an average

of well over $750.00 per retail, one month I was over $850.00. As a sales manager

my team of sales people had the highest gross average out of a 26 dealer group. As

used car manager sales were almost doubled from between 80 to 100 units per

month to a high of 163 units and grosses went up. In July of 1992 the used car

department that I ran made over 500K Profit!

f rom 04/15/2009 to 03/09/2013. Duties include purchase all parts for repairs of

customer’s vehicles. Answer phone calls of potential customers and convert them

i nto leads or sales. Schedule appointments for repairs, and schedule technicians

work schedules for said repairs. Sell all repairs jobs, collect the proceeds, as well as

deposit all money in company account and balance books weekly. Some customers

needed financing for their repairs, and I handled that as well. I took this job

because the owner told me that he would sell the business to me, but that did not

work out. I left because the owner sold part of the business and took on outside

partners. Salary $600.00 weekly plus 6% commission on all sales.

CEO. As owner/CEO I had as many as ten employees. The business was involved in

retail and wholesale sales of firearms and sporting goods. I started the business as

a part time venture in 1987 and went full time on 08/31/97. The company also held a

C lass I I NFA Manufacturer license of Machine gun-Mil i tary weapons, and I had a

contract with USAF Tyndall AFB Air Force Research Lab. Salary 200 K + per

year. The previous owner of this business was retired USAF Colonel Joseph

Henderson, the very best year he ever had he made 496K. My best year I made over

1.2 million. As owner I handled all advertising, purchasing of fi rearms, ammo, and

a ll materials needed to run the business, as well as all the parts, and machinery to

manufacture military weapons. This business was multifaceted in that i t was a

retail, store, indoor shooting range, and we made and sold the weapons that the

m ilitary used on their remotely operated vehicles that are used to set off bombs, and

I EDs in the M iddle East. This required the design and manufacture of the system

t hat articulated the weapon, as well as all brackets, for mounting and remotely

a iming the weapons. These parts were manufactured in house from scratch. I was

a lso working on a new .50 caliber weapon for the U.S. Mili tary.

06/82 and worked there until 09/92. Final Position used car Sales Manager/ F& I

M anager. As an F & I manger I had an average of over $750.00 per retail. Two days a

week when the regular used car manager was at the auctions I acted as used car

manager. During the time while I was in the used car department sales doubled, the

g ross per car went up, and F & I income went up as well. Previously the used car

department normally sold between 80 and 100 units per month. In July of 1992 we

sold 163 units and made over $500,000.00 profit in one month. In 1982 when I fi rst

s tarted as a salesman my salary was about 35K, based on commissions of course.

T he best year I had as a salesman I sold 217 units at an average gross of $1678.00

per car. As F & I manager my average per retail was about $750.00, there were

several months when i t was higher. My best month doing F& I I made over

$11,000.00 based on commission.

Owner 11/1979 until 10/1990

M ullins High Performance specialized in building high performance

engines for street cars, show cars, restorations, and racing engines for N HRA drag

r ace cars and late model stock cars. I also specialized in the restoration of classic

cars, specializing in restoration of Corvettes. M y biggest selling i tem was

performance cylinder heads and in porting high performance cylinder heads for race

cars and other high performance applications. I ported the heads for Jeff

M acKay’s world champion C super modified N HRA drag car. I also had two

other clients who raced NHRA; A and B super modified classes that both won

N HRA points championships. As owner I handled all the advertising and sales as

well as all purchases. Salary $55,000 - $70,000.00. This was not a full t ime business;

however from 11/86 until 08/90 i t was full t ime.

Circle Steel Corp. West Route 48 Taylorville, I l linois

62568 From 06/1977- 09/1979 I worked at Circle

S teel Corp. I started out on the roof line, then bid on a steel rolling position, and did

t his for about a year. I also did welding, and fabrication of the metal caps or

openings that go on the roof and sides of grain bins. I worked on the sheer, unloaded

t rucks with the overhead crane. I also used several different kinds and sizes of fork

t rucks or fork lifts. I also operated a couple of different punch press machines.

C ircle Steel Corp. went out of business in the fall of 1979.
