research to judge profitability for certain types of freight and certain destinations. Helped
construct and develop fair and profitable contracts with customers. Assisted customers and sales
representatives with questions and complaints. Was named Old Dominion Inspector of the year
in 2002.
Old Dominion Freight Line, Supervisor & Dispatcher: May 1994-March 2000
Supervised dock operations and up to 52 dock workers. Ensured proper and timely loading and
unloading of freight. Helped develop and improve overnight delivery system. Set delivery
schedules and managed drivers. Scheduled around 600 shipments a shift. Monitored guaranteed
overnight deliveries for the southern region. Dispatched and arrived drivers.
