Her relevant project experience is as follows:
VDOT, Salem District-Wide Maintenance Schedule Inspections
As a Construction Inspector, responsible for field inspections, as well as, the project records
management for two (2) plant mix schedule and two (2) latex micro surfacing schedules.
Under these contracts, experience gained working night shifts and utilizing State Troopers,
while in lane closures on interstate routes. Working with multiple contractors ensuring quality,
safety, and adherence to contract limitations and quantities. Maintains materials and project
documentation, as well as, assists with CPEs (Contractor Performance Evaluations), estimates,
and monthly progress/budget tracking.

Route 693 Bridge Replacement and Approach/Grading
As a Construction Inspector, responsible for working under a VDOT Senior Inspector on the
bridge replacement and approach over Big Reed Island Creek in Pulaski County, entirely in the
flood plain. On this project, experience gained in plan reading, surveying, grading, drilled
shafts, concrete placement and construction. Ensure adherence to all permits and
environmental items, such as silt fence, dewatering basins, disposal areas, cofferdam and all
other in stream work. Conduct concrete testing in adherence with the standards of the
American Concrete Institute. Maintain all materials and project documentation, as well as,
assist with CPEs (Contractor Performance Evaluations), estimates, and monthly
progress/budget tracking.

VDOT, Salem District-Wide Construction Inspection Contract II
As a Construction Inspector, responsible for field inspection, as well as, project records management for five (5)
paving contract, all of which in progress simultaneously. On these contracts, experience was gained working on
full federally funded projects, and another to include utility items. Strong emphasis was put on comparing
quantities with the contractor on a daily basis, scheduling, materials on hand, adherence to the budget and
communication among all parties. Of the five (5) contracts, no quantity errors were found during the final audit
process.

VDOT Salem, Bristol, and Lynchburg Region I Final Audits
As a Review Technician, responsible for checking VDOT final records for various roadway, bridge, and
maintenance projects in the Salem, Lynchburg, and Bristol Districts in order to ensure accuracy, completion and
compliance with the Post Construction Manual.

VDOT, Salem District-Wide Maintenance Schedule Inspections
As a Construction Inspector, responsible for modified single seal surface treatment, latex modified seal, micro-
surfacing with latex and fiber treated emulsion, and pavement line marking/messaging. Assignments included
project inspections for over nine (9) maintenance schedules, including surface treatment, slurry seal, and
pavement marking operations. She has kept detailed records on VDOT Site Manager Program, as well as with
materials received and tested notebooks.
