Director, Labor Relations, May 2010-August 2013
Served as chief spokesperson and lead negotiator for all collectively
bargained theatrical employees around the United States and the world
(specifically the UK and Australia). Provided bargaining support for
Disney Music Group and the Walt Disney Studios (including with Canadian
unions). Responsible for all employment law issues for represented
employees, including wage and hour issues, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and
independent contractor/employee status. Counseled line supervisors and
business managers on personnel issues, including employee conflict,
discipline, and terminations. Conducted investigations into employee
complaints. Directed the hiring process and human resources transactions
for all production employees. Managed all litigation arising out of
issues with production personnel. Administered all theatrical collective
bargaining agreements, including their interpretation and application.
Handled grievances and contract disputes. Responsible for developing and
implementing all labor relations strategy for the theatrical business.
Worked with senior business partners to devise strategy in contemplation of
the business' labor agreements. Served on the Board of Trustees on three
co-trusteed plans (including Pension and Health plans), and was Chair of

on Broadway and around the country. Advised on contract and corporate
governance for the League. Helped negotiate all Broadway collective
bargaining agreements. Handled a three-week strike that closed most
Broadway theatres. Drafted collective bargaining agreements and related
memoranda. Designed, developed, and implemented a labor relations strategy
and program for League members outside of New York City. Handled
grievances and arbitrations. Managed assistants and staff.

Designed, set, and implemented all broadcast industry labor strategy.
Provided all facets of employment law advice, including wage and hour
