Business Analyst, Credit Bureau Team

• Led UAT for new feed built for reporting business accounts to 3 Credit Bureaus. Developed strategy for internal UAT, testing with bureaus and live proving. Defined test cases, data requirements, led defects management, live proving and test closure. This involved close collaboration with senior stakeholders, IT and credit bureaus. Project satisfied reciprocity requirement with the Bureaus.

• Lead Business Analyst for resolving compliance issues with reported data and for establishing new processes to ensure data quality and future accurate reporting. Led requirement capture, review and sign off of key documents like functional spec and design, defined UAT cases, requirement traceability, and conducted end to end testing. Key issues included reporting of complex events like bankruptcy, joint accounts, debt sale, etc. Involved interaction across number of teams- collections, recoveries, product development, legal, IT and use of data across several databases.

• Led UAT for migration of loans reporting data from legacy database to ALS

• Established process for sending and incorporating bureau data into decision engines, ensuring timely and accurate data was sent and received. Recommended and developed thresholds to ensure data quality of feeds and DCM data.

• Assessed internal impact of Bureau field and platform changes on all scorecards, strategies, decision engines, and processes.

• Developed reference documents detailing the As-Is code/fields and the to-be recommended by the bureaus to enable gap analysis. This was key for redevelopment of all the feeds in SAS.

• Managed the monthly change process for Basel reporting. This involved collaboration and testing with several groups like finance, decision science, credit risk, collections and recoveries to ensure impact of changes were accounted for.

• Led front-end screen changes to incorporate KYC requirements in the account opening process. This required screen design for 3 different business groups with separate processes.
