EXPERIENCE

Machinist for Ottenweller, Mount Airy, N.C. 2010-2013 My job

responsibilities consisted of, setup and operation of Hurco CNC milling

machines to produce excavator parts for customers such as Deere-Hitachi and

Caterpillar.

Assembler for Leonard Aluminum Buildings Rural Hall, N.C. 2009-2010 My job

tasks included using tape measures, saws, pneumatic nail guns, and various

other carpenter hand tools to assemble wooden or metal carports,

playhouses, dog houses, and chicken coops.

Machinist for L.S. Starrett, Mount Airy, N.C. 1998-2009. My job duties

required me to be in the maintenance/CMM research and development

department. I have programmed setup and operated a Bridgeport CNC Milling

machine and standard Bridgeport vertical milling machine; along with

Clausing Lathes and grinders to produce parts that would later be assembled

to build CMM measuring machines. I also was in their screw department and

ran a screw machine to produce parts for micrometers, caliper, and other

precision machining tools.

Machinist for Westinghouse, Rural Hall, N.C. 1996-1998. My job duties

included operating a turret lathe machine and a deep hole drilling machine

used in the production of parts required in the manufacturing of turbo

engines. I was also responsible for running a milling machine to rough out

blanks for parallel blades.

EDUCATION

Associate Degree in Applied Science in Machining Technology: May 1996.

Grade point average: 3.26 on a 4.0 scale.

Carroll County High School graduate, Virginia, 1993.
