Summary of Qualifications: I recently separated from the United States Marine Corps after serving for 9 years.
During that time I served in multiple positions that allowed me to progress as a person as well as develop as a
leader, manager, and mentor. These positions include systems/network administrator, radio reconnaissance team
leader, and recruiter. My responsibilities included the following duties.
Systems/Network Administrator
- Serve as Systems Support Platoon (SSP) Sergeant, responsible for the accountability
the nearly 40 Marines in SSP ensuring pertinent information is passed up and down the
chain of command.
- Maintain platoon databases to ensure accurate personnel, billeting and recall rosters.
- Serve as systems administrator for three classifications of networks, Non-secure Internet
Protocol Router (NIPR), Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR), and Joint Worldwide
Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).
- Coordinate efforts with adjacent units on theater networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS) to
ensure constant, uninterrupted communications are available throughout the Tactical
Fusion Center (TFC).
- Provide secure Video Tele-Conference (VTC) capabilities to the Marine Expeditionary
Force (MEF) Commanding General and staff.
- Maintain the Trojan-Lite satellite communication system providing Top Secret/Special
Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) access to the Tactical Fusion Center (TFC).
- Provide system administration and computer technical support to more than 200
computers, 5 domain controller servers and 3 Microsoft Exchange servers in the TFC
helpdesk.
- Maintain the Global Broadcast System providing a broadband satellite circuit to
download intelligence data.
- Track, prioritize, and manage all trouble calls that the Network Operations Center (NOC)
is tasked with.
- Ensure all trouble calls and requests the NOC is tasked with are handled with
professionalism, timeliness, and reliability.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Network Operations Center shift
schedule.

Radio Reconnaissance Team Leader
- Develop, implement, and supervise a training plan designed to prepare my team to support
Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) missions in support of Reconnaissance units and other
Special Operations Units.
- Ensure my team maintains competency in the core military skills necessary to conduct
reconnaissance operations and SIGINT operations.
- Supervise the maintenance and accountability of all equipment, vehicles, and personnel
assigned to my team.
- Ensure continued professional development of the Marines on my team through
consistent evaluation and counseling.
- Responsible for the proper employment of my team and its equipment in support of
mission requirements.
- Brief the platoon and company staff regarding team capabilities as well as team level
training events conducted in garrison and the field environment.
- Conduct mission planning in accordance with mission tasking.
Recruiter
Obtain names, generate referrals, prospected, screened, sold and processed applicants for enlistment

and shipment to recruit training.
- Maintain contact with, encourage and motivate enlistees before and during recruit training.
- Proficient in the use of systematic recruiting and professional selling skills.
- Enlist and ship applicants of the required quantity and quality.
Customer Service
- Daily interaction with school officials, teachers, counselors, parents and law enforcement officials.
- Provide applicants with up to date information and opportunities available in the Marine Corps.
- Handle concerns of applicants and their family members about enlistment into the Marine Corps.

- Experience with Active Directory, Cisco switches and routers, VOIP phones, Ethernet and fiber optic

UNIX.
