techniques such as seclusion, restraint and segregation. Crisis management in place for

mediport and PICC, wound care, tracheostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP respiratory care to

chronically and terminally ill patients.

Federal detention center responsible for 300 detainees care while in custody of

U.S.Marshals. Provided physical and mental intakes/assessments upon arrival to facility.

Formed plan of care using team approach which included crisis management and de-

escalation techniques such as segregation. Care included but was not limited to nursing

and respiratory diagnoses, treatment on premises for medical and psychiatric, transferring

detainees with acute care needs such as fractures, lacerations, cranial contusions and
