Professional Profile

I am a Senior Manager, aged 40, with 10 years experience gained working for

the Renault group and 4 years for M decins sans Fronti res (Rome,

Brussels). I have carried out and managed cultural and organizational

change projects, and have developed strong leadership and strategic-vision

abilities, change-management skills, and expertise in hard and soft issues

concerning Human Resource management, always in view of achieving positive

business results. Enthusiasm along with a mix of passion and rationality

characterize my approach to management, and make it effective in outlining

Work Experience

From 05/2012 HQ HR Manager - Doctors without borders - Operational Centre,

Brussels

Brussels HQ coordinates all the Brussels Operational Centre's operations

around the world. It comprises various support departments (communications,

human resources, logistics, medical and finance) which help operations run

as efficiently as possible. Brussels HQ has 280 employees.

Reporting to the Director of the Human Resources Department of the

Operational Centre of Brussels, I oversee a team of five people. I support

HQ Managers in their empowerment processes and provide on-going

communication internally to staff. I am responsible for the operation of

various functions in the HR chain: recruitment, management, payroll and

administration, training and development, trade unions relations.

2011 - 2012 HQ HR Partner & Referent - Doctors without borders -

Operational Centre, Brussels

As HR Partner for the HQ staff (280 persons) I ensure the definition and

the implementation of the HR strategy, according with the values and the

mission of the association and supporting the organization in achieving the

strategic objectives in terms of medical emergency on the field. The role

is based on the requirement to reaffirm the Human Resources Department as a

strategic partner of the Operations, in order to promote a cultural change.

As HQ HR Referent I manage the areas concerning people and organization

development with a particular focus in supporting Management in the

development of managerial skills (people management and conflict

management).

2009 - 2011 Head of HQ HR Doctors without

borders, Rome

I manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and

programs. The major areas directed are: recruiting and staffing;

organization planning and development; employment and compliance to

regulatory concerns; employee orientation, development and training;

employee relations; compensation; payroll; employee safety, welfare,

wellness and health; employee services and counseling; reception. In

particular I lead a project of change for implementing appropriate HR

policies in an organizational context that is in a strong growth path and I

support the Management in the development of managerial skills.

2006-2008 Consulting Manager Renault Consulting,

Rome

Head of the Consulting Business Unit: I was the leader of a team of 30

consultants involved in projects in the Human Resources, Customer

Satisfaction, and Quality-System Management areas for Renault and its

dealers network. Key responsibilities:

. to ensure achievement of sales (E1.7 million) and profitability

objectives, by governing profit and losses as well as project staffing;

. to ensure management, training and motivation of the team;

. to ensure customer satisfaction, while guaranteeing the service levels

agreed;

. to contribute to the development of the customer portfolio and of

partnerships;

. to take on the role of Project leader HR & Organization.

Key results:

. I raised the area margin by 9% in one year, through better allocation

of consultants and breakdown of related costs, and fees consistent with

the skills requested;

. I succeeded in fostering a strong sense of belonging in the company and

cut annual turnover from 40% to 12% in one year, by engaging my

collaborators' interest in the goals of the area, by developing a well-

accepted project-management system, and by making myself fully

available while offering the highest degree of attention;

. I conducted a project aimed at strengthening and improving, in terms of

quality as well as quantity, the dealers' sales force dedicated to

corporate customers, by carrying out research and selection activities

and by developing an ad-hoc training path.

2005-2006 Regional Organization & Quality Manager Renault Italia,

Florence

I was involved in teamwork activities with Sales and After-Sales Managers

in support of dealers in Sardinia, Tuscany, Emilia, Umbria, Veneto and

Friuli. I was in charge of defining the action plans needed to improve

customer satisfaction with sales and owner services, and to increase the

dealers' profitability through organizational optimization.

Key results:

. I increased the Customer Satisfaction Index by 7% in sales and by 5% in

owner services over a period of 12 months, through integration of

internal processes and improvement of customer-perceived quality.

2000-2005 Renault

Italia, Rome

Organization & Quality Manager: in the Human Resources department, I was in

charge of a team of 4, with an area budget of E500,000 and the following

responsibilities:

. to help the Top Management define organizational solutions expected to

be efficient and suitable for business development purposes;

. to ensure mapping of corporate processes and monitoring of the

organization's performance, while supporting Process Owners in

analyzing KPIs, in defining improvement plans, and in overall process

reengineering;

. to draw up job descriptions/profiles, while specifying abilities/skills

and developing career plans consistent with organizational and business-

development needs;

. to provide directions for the Human Resources strategic plan, and to

determine the optimal manpower size and the related budget;

. to support the departments in the management of various HR-related

issues;

. to ensure management and appropriate maintenance of the RI Quality

System.

Key results:

. I achieved the transformation of the company from a function-based to a

process-based organization by getting the entire personnel involved, by

creating the role of "Process Owner", and by making the Management more

aware of process costs.

Renault/Nissan Alliance Coordinator: I was in charge of ensuring, in

agreement with the companies' management, the realization of organizational

and economic synergies, the development of the communication and cultural-

integration plan, and the transfer of personnel from Nissan to Renault.

Key results:

. I strongly contributed to achieving global savings of E2 million in

Italy, by bringing forward the Headcount-management plan and thanks to

the strong commitment to effectively identify synergies that I managed

to foster in the companies' Management.
