Initiative, a model of support to districts and schools to support the
process of continuous school and district improvement and to
accelerate the closing of Connecticut's achievement gaps. Coordinated
statewide training and in-district technical assistance. Facilitated
the redesign of three professional development modules focused on Data
Driven Decision Making and Data Teams, Formative Assessment, and
Differentiated Instruction. Established a Quality Assurance Program
to assess the strength and effectiveness of professional development
offerings. Supervised and evaluated the activities of training
personnel in the field. Managed the Accountability and Technical
assistance Training Grant.
. Served as the Technical Assistance Team Lead for three low-performing
districts. Provided guidance and support for the development,
implementation, and monitoring of School and District Improvement
Plans.
. Ensured strategic alignment among all Turnaround Office initiatives
and other Connecticut State Department of Education priorities, such
as Expanded Learning Time, Parent, Community and Family Engagement,
