Identified 7 high-risk suppliers with poor quality (ppm, delivery, etc.)
and went on-site to help them with their quality issues.
Team would work with suppliers' quality team to demonstrate the correct use
of the Caterpillar tool by using pareto chart to determine top quality
issues, then apply SIPOC to determine Process Flow Chart, and then write
PFMEA to determine correct Control Plan.
After demonstrating the discipline, we would then have the suppliers'
quality team complete APQP for the other identified quality issues.
