Description

Project is entitled "Design and Development of a Wearable Body

Sensing System for Childhood Obesity Management" which had three outcomes

as Wearable Hardware device (Sensor Unit), Android Application and Web

Application. The Project was sponsored by the University of Illinois and

mentored by National University.

Responsibilities

. Involved in gathering and analyzing the requirements from end-user.

. Followed Agile Methodology.

. Involved in documenting the process both at the Functional and

Technical level using Microsoft Visio UML.

. Developed mobile application to capture the data from Bluetooth HDP

enabled devices for monitoring health records and generating the

reports.

. Designed wearable wireless healthcare device.

. Testing the android application using JUNIT Framework in-built within

the Eclipse Platform and Selenium WebDriver.

. Implemented new features to the nucri.org/dhs website including

the ability to search for student records using dynamic

filters and persistent geolocation awareness capability.

. Testing "Healthy Choices" web application by writing the test cases

manually and accordingly verifying using Selenium IDE (1.10.0) which

to optimize AES operations both in encryption as well as decryption

processes.

Responsibilities

. Involved in gathering the requirements and organizing the requirements

accordingly depending on the availability of the resources.

. An optimized design for AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) with parity

based concurrent error detection.

. To investigate the error free transmission of the AES which finds one

of the applications in Satellite communication.

. Designed the self-detecting and correcting of the AES Substitute byte

transformation.

. Combined architecture for substitute byte/Inverse

substitute byte transformation for encryption, limited hardware

resources, reduction in critical path, and delay and fault detection

with the parity check thereby having an error free transmission.
