Coach, Lightning Soccer Club, Carlsbad, CA Winter 2011-Current

Selected and coached teams with players from tryouts (ages 6, 7, and 8), planned yearlong development goals

for the team, and prepared them to compete against teams from all over the county. Ran practice twice a

week and coached games on the weekend. Was held responsible for the development and overall progress of

each player and also the success of the team.

Coach, Fallbrook Villa Soccer Club, Fallbrook, CA Spring 2011-Winter 2011

Selected players from ages 10 and 11 to coach them in soccer, and taught them team building skills. Held

practice twice a week, one and a half hours per practice, and would coach them on the weekends.

AVID tutor, Fallbrook Union High School District, Fallbrook, CA Winter 2008-

Summer 2011

AVID is a high school program that helps underprivileged students develop study habits and tools that allow

them to achieve academic success in preparation for a 4-year university. Took a group of students, ages

ranging from 14 to 18, and tutored them in the topics they were learning.

Youth Coach, Escondido Education COMPACT (Summer Youth Force), Escondido, CA Summer 2010

Worked with the Summer Youth Force, which aims to help youth gain hands on job experience. Trained and

placed 15 youth at job sites that was of their career interest and overlooked their overall performance. Kept

in contact with the employers and made sure the workers were keeping up with their responsibilities.

Tutor, Oxford Tutoring, San Marcos, CA Fall 2008- Winter 2008

Looked after, and tutored 6th grade students in the Oceanside school district that tested below average on the

STAR exam. Helped students finish study packets and taught in subjects ranging from English to math to help

achieve higher scores.
