Role:

North Carolina Central University's Banner system connects to other
applications using Interfaces.
Role:
. Maintained and upgraded local finance and student interfaces using
Perl, PL/SQL, SQL and Shell Scripting.
. Monitored the processes in UNIX.
. Setup the jobs in Appworx scheduler.

Project 2:
North Carolina Central University moved its IT infrastructure from VMS (FRS
PLUS) flat files to Oracle Relational Databases called Banner application.
Role:
. Developed local finance and student interfaces using Perl, PL/SQL, SQL
and Shell Scripting.
. Developed reusable shell scripts for the users.
. Automated the Shell scripts using Cron Scheduler in UNIX.
. Produced reports for finance functional users using PL/SQL and SQL.

. Abstracted the SQL layer from the business logic using Data Access
Objects.

Project 4:
NC Central University has an Alumni online donations interface, where the

validate the Credit Card information provided by the donator.
. Developed a Java application to send the Credit Card details to the
touchnet machine which further processes the Credit Card.

MERCURY GATE TMS: 2002

The Mercury Gate TMS (Transportation Management Suite) is a Web based end-
to-end solution for managing a company's entire shipping and transportation
process.
Role:
. Developed a Java application that compiles reports from different log
files, which in turn were created from different messages generated in
the TMS.
. Developed an application to email the reports to business analysts
department for further analysis of the data.

WEB SERVICES: Project1: Developed a framework using Apache Axis handler
mechanism to make Axis Engine implement the Web Services Security
Specification. Encryption/decryption and digital signatures were used.
Project2: Developed Web Services and published them into the Microsoft
UDDI registry. Used SOAP over HTTP to access Amazon Web Services. Developed
client to discover published Web Services from the registry.
