Job Title: Program Manager.
Brown International was awarded a 80,000,000 dollar project by
the
Kuwait Ministry of Defense (KMOD); to Integrate Communications
Equipment into their Track Vehicles. As Program Manager I was
responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation;
Engineering, Drafting, Fabrication and Integration to insure
that all is being done IAW the contract and within budget. I met
regularly with Senior Officers of the Kuwait Military to discuss
progress and work through any identified discrepancies. Our
operations covered seven sites located throughout Kuwait. We
completed our contract ahead of schedule and under budget.

I was responsible for gathering information sent to me by the
IED Task Force and from EOD personnel on ground in Iraq. I would
take this information and use it to re-create the IEDs that were
being used in Iraq. We would use these IED replicas to train the
military and civilian personnel to prepare them for what they
might encounter when going into Iraq.

Job titles: Site Manager, Operations Manager, SUXOS and Tech III
As Site Manager I was ultimately responsible for the safety and well being
of all 250 personnel on site. My responsibilities included assuring all
work was being completed in accordance with the contract /Scope of Work. I
kept the site on target to complete the mission ahead of schedule and sent
in daily progress reports as well as participated in weekly tele-
conferences with our people in Baghdad and Huntsville. I held daily
meetings with the COE representative and the department Managers to plan,
coordinate and de-conflict. During times of heavy military action in our
area I would meet regularly with the commanders in our area to receive
sitreps and to coordinate with them, they would use our site as a jump off
point for Falujah operations.
While Site Manager, our site set the pace for all the other CEA contract
sites in Iraq. The Rock ASP disposed of more ordnance than all other sites
combined and with less than half the personnel. This gave us the
distinction of being the most economical CEA disposal operation in country.
All of this was accomplished while maintaining one of the best safety
records in Iraq for CEA operation. The Rock ASP is just over two kilometers
from Falujah, a hotbed of enemy activity, making work there a logistical
nightmare.
As Operations Manager: I assisted the Site Manager by supplying the
tracking information needed to reach goals set for completion of the clean-
up and disposal operations. My responsibilities included solving the day to
day problems that would arise to allow the Site Manager to be free to focus
on more important issues at hand i.e. the Army COE, our Baghdad office and
our office in Huntsville
As SUXOS: my responsibilities included managing the ASP Sweep Team, the
Demo Team which disposed of up to 500 tons of Captured Enemy Ammunition (
CEA ) daily, and overseeing ASP operations. I managed 30 ex-pats and 60
local laborers during daily operations. I was accountable for the
explosives which would be stored and issued as needed. I participated in
daily planning and served as liaison between Head Shed and supervisors of
the crews. Performed daily IED sweeps of all the range roads.
04/04- 08/04 EOD-Technologies, PO Box 24173, Knoxville, TN. Rock ASP,
Falujah, Iraq.
Job Title: Senor Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor (SUXOS)
Responsible for ASP and Demo operations, I had up to 180 local
workers that I managed daily. During this period I learned
fundamental Arabic. In the ASP we received, inventoried and
stored munitions of all types from many different countries. On
the Demo side we identified the highest priority munitions,
transported them, and destroyed them at the demo site. I was
also responsible for up to 15 Coalition Ammo handlers and 10
Coalition EOD techs. We performed our operations with zero
reportable injuries. I performed daily IED sweeps of all range
roads.

Job Title: Range Safety Officer, Firing Officer and EOD Tech /
Gunner.
Responsible for performing test firing of various types of 25
and 30 mm projectiles. Extensive work with Depleted Uranium.
Performed disassembly and failure analysis of projectile and
bomb fuses.
