Science and Engineering Mechanics departments and Medical School.
Performed SolidWorks® CAD design of multiple degrees of freedom
modular self-reconfigurable robots intended for planetary explorations.
Fabricated Steel, Aluminum and Plastic parts using lathe and milling
machines, FEA analysis with ABAQUS®.
Developed embedded systems using Arduino microcontroller and
Raspberry Pi® computer to control stepper, servo and DC motors.
Acquired data using infrared, tactile, Polyvinylidine Fluoride (PVDF) and
fiber optic pressure sensors. Used National Instruments PXI Express
data acquisition device.
Programmed in C, C++, Matlab®, LabView®, and LISP; worked in
Windows, Unix, ARM Linux and National Instruments Real Time
Operating System environments.
Tested medical materials using Bose Electroforce® load testing device.
