Responsible for generating new sales opportunities through cold calling or
in-person meetings via email/telephone communication, and moving these leads
through the sales process to ultimately close deals. Follow up on leads
generated by web-based advertising and industry trade shows, as well as sell
services and goods to established customers. Besides marketing and selling,
prepares quotes and formal presentations, answers customer inquiries,
researches new product requests and writes contracts. Serves as a liaison
between the outside sales and customer service departments. Prepares reports
on daily, weekly and monthly leads and sales.
Closed LifeTime Fitness national account in November 2012, to design and build
soft contained playgrounds for the Kid's Clubs in all of their corporate owned
gyms across the United States.

La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries/Tipperary Sales, Inc.
Brought on board to create floor plans, select furniture combining color,
fabric, and leather based on a customer's needs and wants. Served
geographically dispersed clientele. Made office visits and in-home visits to
assess customer floor plans (programming). Placed orders and tracked sales.
Utilized advanced disciplines to stay within clients' budgets enhance
functions/ergonomics, safety, software (AutoCAD & Photoshop), and aesthetics
of interior space. Met all budget deadlines for customers.
Co-managed a sales team of 7, directing efforts to meet In Home Design Monthly
goals which accounted for 25% of the store's monthly goal. Oversaw store's
visual merchandising and displays. Designed store layout/space planning as
well as new market additions.
Won "In Home Design" sales of the Month in September of 2011, exceeded store

Successfully Co-Managed in coordination with the architects a design concept
for a $3M uptown penthouse located on 230 South Tryon that was featured in
"Uptown Magazine".
Co-Facilitated furnishing and accessories, floor/space planning, lighting,
custom wall, window and floor treatments, and overall concept design for 230
South Tryon Project.

2006-2007
Optimal Designs, LLC
Recruited to provide cabinetry design and space planning for government,
commercial and private sector clients. Drafted architectural (AutoCAD)
renderings for kitchen and bathroom designs.
Worked Collaboratively with Gaye Mitchum Design Group, LLC, on a NASCAR
Driver's House- Ryan Newman. Served as one of the consultants that interfaced
and provided direction to designers and production staff.
