Responsibilities: Manage a department responsible for the purchasing of capital
equipment, including but not limited to medium duty trucks, passenger vehicles, light
duty trucks and vans, trailers, forklifts and portable cargo boxes; a combined total asset
value of $88 million that is managed and maintained to meet all Federal and State
regulations (i.e. OSHA, FMCSA, DOT). Also, responsible for creating budgets for capital
expenditures, budgets for over 450 store locations for their equipment needs, vehicle
titling, registration and inspections, mid year and year end reviews, pay increases and
organization growth and development. Created and implemented fleet vehicle handbook,
policy and procedures for following DOT regulations for all Commercial Vehicles,

Responsibilities: Purchase steel banding, forklifts, forklift tires, office machines (i.e.
copiers, fax machines, multi-function machines). Negotiate contracts with all companies
that were suppliers, forklift servicing company contracts and rental companies on a
yearly basis to receive the best national rates and volume incentives. Manage and
maintain all 200 company vehicles used nationwide, approve repairs and set up fuel cards
used by company employees. Coordinate shipping for company vehicles and forklifts for
stores throughout the nation.

approve orders, create and implement purchasing procedures for company-wide use.
Work with engineering department to create bill of materials, document specifications,
