I was responsible for development and implementation of the Quality Plan, Quality process audits, internal Quality system audits (ISO 9001-2000), initiating defective PPM reduction and corrective actions on a high volume assembly operation producing residential gas furnaces.

Responsible for development and implementation of the Quality Plan, Quality process audits, internal Quality system audits (ISO 9001-2000), initiating defective PPM reduction and corrective actions on a high volume assembly operation producing commercial HVAC systems. . Involved in the Product Development Process (PDP) on new projects, providing input on requirements and completion of process FMEA's. This includes four assembly lines and a coil fabrication department. This role includes the direct Supervision of two Quality Auditors and two QA Inspectors.
SKILLS & ABILITIES While maintaining the Quality Plan I have been able to implement several improvements through Quality Kaizen events utilizing Six Sigma tools.
Most notable was a significant reduction in refrigerant leaks in-house and in the field. This improvement also brought about a cost savings of over 100K dollars in filler material alone.
Another notable improvement was the implementation of a temperature offset in our testing software to eliminate the failing of good product.
The most recent was a coil leak autopsy program that produced a cost savings of over 50K dollars in one year.
