Physical Layer Performance Benchmarking of Hardware & Software Product

I worked at a Hardware & Software Automation team for Mobile Development. I was a part of the

Key Performance team and did primarily LTE/WCDMA/GSM Test Development, Execution using

Python, Performance Optimization, Benchmarking, Standardization, Documentation, Process

Improvement work for different hardware platforms. This has also included programming with

different Network Simulators and manually testing the platform along with debugging and testing

the RF complex issues. I gained good test experience and understanding of how to tackle real life

problems in RF Hardware & Software using Agile Methodologies with different Scrum and Sprint

meetings. During my work and stay with Intel in Aalborg, I have gained knowledge of Danish

Society and working with different European people.

I worked in the Software Automation Team from High Technical Tasks (Requirement Gathering,

Design, Implementation, Programming, Test ) to Team Management including Agile

Methodologies application in the team for Nokia Handset Development working from Wireless

Physical to Application Layers including log analysis for RF & Physical layer for all technologies

(GSM, GPRS,WCDMA). I gained good technical experience of the complete Protocol Stack, RF &

Physical Layer.

Pre-Certification & Type Approvals for Nokia Platforms and CE Devices

I was responsible for the testing and reporting of the issues with the Nokia R&D

platforms and CE Devices. It also included analyzing different technical issues and interacting with

various different departments in the company to resolve the issue. I participated and represented

my team at the Certification Level of Nokia Devices with the Product Program at Global level.

Nokia Productization of the Hardware Platforms & CE Devices

Process Improvement & Project Management for the effective usage and availability of Nokia

Platforms and CE Devices to be used within Wireless Modem Team. I have made sure that the

Platforms required for Development are available well in advance which included my tasks from

Requirement Gathering, Road mapping, Demand Estimation, Optimization of Resources allocation,

understanding of the team needs and negotiation with the Nokia Product Programs. I was

understand the consumer needs before the launch of Nokia N8 product.

Error Management Activities for Nokia CE Devices

As a team member in Error Management team I handled the different Hardware & Software Issues

received in the Inbox of the team and then doing the initial level analysis from Physical Layer

Perceptive and sending to the respective teams for resolution .

Managing Release Testing activities for Nokia & Competitor Platforms

Project Management for all Release Testing activities from Nokia Platforms to CE Devices. During

this work, I created Test Plans, Estimated time for different test activities and maintained the

effective usage of the test systems available in the lab with proper utilization of human resources.

I created the Ramp up plans for new joiners and maintained t he Agile Methodologies within

team. This has also included analysis of the detailed Test Logs and Error Management activities.

Field Support Engineer

Inter Operability is one of the essential element which needs to be verified before the Product

goes in the market. I was a part of the Inter Compatibility Test Team which included my tasks from

Testing, Analyzing complex problems. travelling to different parts of the world and verifying our

product with different vendors across the world. I gained a good experience of Technical

Problems, Customer Interfacing with different cultures of the world (Europe, China, US)

Working with Nokia has provided me an opportunity to learn about the European work culture. I

learnt a lot from Software Development, Process Improvement, Project Management, Quality

Management, Product Development, Sustainability. I am a person who doesn't limit myself to

I started my career with the NEC Japanese Project where I contributed to the initial study of the

mobile industry from testing, documentation, analyzing different real time problems from

functional to log analysis. I started with Japanese project as I have learnt Japanese language in my

school and it was quite interesting getting the experience of Japanese work culture.

Nokia Siemens & Power wave Technologies IP BTS Development & Testing

This project was for Nokia Siemens Networks where Power wave was working on Hardware and

our team was working on Software at the offshore center in HCL. I contributed from the initial

study, design, implementation of test cases for the IP Based BTS Development. Through this

project I got the experience of working with Hardware and Software together.

Quality Catalyst for maintaining Quality Control and Quality Assurance

I was so enthusiastic about delivering the Quality Product to the customer. I sta rted learning

Software Quality Processes and Assurance so that I can contribute later in the industry. I did lot of

reviews to improve the Quality Assurance within a project, performed various Root Cause Analysis

on our project to come up with a concrete problem.

About me Besides being an engineer, characteristic parts of me are my interests in meditation,

reading psychology, watching documentaries, study about mind and reading world news.

I was born in India and studied there, worked in different parts of the world. I visit my

parents in US & my brother in France. I love travelling, meeting different cultures people

and would like to learn from each other. I enjoy spending time in meditation, meeting my

friends, going to concerts or on adventure in the nature. I relax best after my meditation

or while reading any spiritual book. And I feel that doing any task is not big or small, we

learn different things performing different tasks. So I love doing lot of volunteer activities.
