ACADEMIC Project:

Main Project:

Project Title: Military Robot

Description: This project is a working model of reprogrammable

multifunction manipulator designed to substitute the real human soldier in

Warfield using radio frequency control. Changes in infrared heat, caused by

human movement are sensed using a PIR sensor module for detecting live

bodies and also human intrusion. Laser is used to fire on target

substituting the gun fixed to a stepper motor. Live video monitoring and

transmission of the field images is also done in this project.

Mini Project:

Project Title: Robocadet

Description: This project is a working model of radio frequency controlled

robot used for metal detection based on super heterodyne principle. To

control the robot in this project four wheels are used. These four wheels

are controlled by servo motor. The heart of this project is induction coil.

This coil produces an alternating magnetic field, whenever a change in

magnetic field causes metal detection. It can be effectively utilized in

Warfield and also in other defense applications.

Seminar:

Seminar Title: Gi-Fi

Description: Gi-Fi will helps to push wireless communications to faster

drive. Gi-Fi or Gigabit Wireless is the world's first transceiver

integrated on a single chip that operates at 60GHz on the CMOS process. It

will allow wireless transfer of audio and video data up to 5gigabits per

second, ten times the current maximum wireless transfer rate, at one-tenth

of the cost, usually within a range of 10 meters. The development will

enable the truly wireless office and home of the future.
