Profile:

A highly qualified and experienced Polish Service Engineer and Electrician, with specialist

competence in the maintenance and repair of domestic appliances, who relocated to Britain several

years ago with his family, has worked hard to improve his English language skills and built a life in

this country and is now keen to secure a position as a Service Engineer in a similar environment

with a reputable company.

I have carried out some private repairs for friends in the Cannock area since living in the UK and

have a good appreciation of current domestic appliances and I would adapt quickly to doing this

role full time for an employer who offered me such an opportunity.

Education & Qualifications

Matriculation Certificate – Secondary Mechanical Technical School

A 3 year technical course ('86-'89), which I passed and earned the right to officially use the title;

'Mechanic Technician' specializing in the repair and operation of motor vehicles, within polish

industry. Within this course I studied a variety of modules which gave me advanced competence in

the maintenance and upkeep of both mechanical and electrical equipment including electrical

circuits, motors, drives as well as mechanical systems.

On May 29th 1989 I passed the matriculation exam allowing me the opportunity to study at

university if I had wished to do so. Thereafter I joined the State Enterprise Sugar Factory in

Strzyzow in my first employment as an Electrician.

2012 to date

I am now employed in company which specializes in fixing domestic appliance. My duties include

fixing any type of domestic appliance in store and at a customer's property. When required I also

sell the appliance we have in store.

Motorhouse – Cannock – Car Valet

2004 to 2012

I operate in a team tasked with preparing several hundred cars for customer delivery each week. I

have become a trusted and well liked member of the team at Motorhouse and have introduced other

Polish co-workers who have successfully gained similar employment there.

Reason for leaving: having now settled permanently in the UK with my family, I would like to work

in a position more suitable to my previous experience and training.

Serwis AGD MONTER – Poland Service Engineer – domestic appliances

1993 to Dec 2003.

This was a company specialising in the installation maintenance and repair of domestic appliances

such as; washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, hobs fridges, freezers ect. We operated both

commercial and domestic customers.

I was punctual, diligent, and was well liked by our customers. I thoroughly enjoyed this type of

work and would like to return to this profession.

The State Enterprise Sugar Factory – Strzyzow, Poland – Electrician

1989 to 1993.

This role was my first job after gaining my qualifications and gave me practical application of what

I had learned during my academic studies. After four years I was offered a better and more

enjoyable position with the company above.
