I designed 360 degree marketing programs for corporate owned and managed campuses that integrated mass media, public relations, field and online marketing with creative programs that raised brand awareness at the state and local levels. I had primary responsibility for over all campus marketing budgets, from both a planning and tactical execution perspective. Cultivated a strategic partnership between the Miami Valley Alzheimer’s Association and Masonic Aging Services that will result in a newly-developed, web-based solution that “Makes Caregiving Easy” for those taking care of someone with an Alzheimer’s or Dementia diagnosis, being brought to the state level in December and ultimately to the national level based on successful adoption and utilization.

I directly managed our sales and admissions teams, while indirectly supervising campus department heads by ensuring marketing strategies and guidelines are maintained across the organization. I acted upon metrics data, market research and industry trends to: develop various marketing and sales strategies; conceive and design creative messaging; produce and place all advertising; write and disseminate press releases for BrookHaven’s services and events. I was also responsible for using this information to support recommendations and assist in the development of products and services that ensured BrookHaven’s longevity and profitability. I conceived and coordinated both on and offsite campus marketing events. I was responsible to market the campus’ services to area hospital leaders, physicians, social service and case management departments, government agencies, etc. through relationship development and mutually-beneficial partnerships. I contacted community groups to arrange appearances at meetings and make presentations. I was responsible for the oversight of the company’s website (www.brookhavenoh.org) and it’s content to increase SEO and ultimately inquiries. My primary goal for this mix was to develop and maintain optimal census levels in order to garner a positive ROI for our shareholders.

Developed and implemented 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 strategic marketing plans that have consistently yielded admissions increases, including record-breaking lease signings for cottages and apartments two years in a row.

Apartments are at 110% budgeted census.

Medicare Census at 164% of budgeted census.

Created partnership with Dayton Heart and Vascular Hospital to conceive, define, design and promote a cardiac rehabilitation unit. The program allows BrookHaven to be a market leader in addressing demands to reduce hospital readmissions for a key diagnosis by aligning care pathways and outcomes with our largest referral source.

Assisted living averaged 104% of budgeted census in 2012.

Responsible for the development and implementation of Salesforce across the campus in 2012.

Implemented topline data metric reporting to streamline efforts among all marketing and admissions staff and developed systems to create a “single” approach to our business development activities.
