PROFILE

I have been selling and managing for a long time. It's what I know. It's

what I do well. I have experience selling business to business with

large accounts, government accounts, political accounts, non-profits, and

of coarse the essential staple of small business

accounts. I have extensive experience training and mentoring personnel to

This is a hunter, new account development position. It involves extensive

cold calling, with a primary focus on small to medium

size business. We sell a variety of marketing/advertising options available

to small business with a focus on reaching the public

through the internet.

Marketing Manager, Liberty Tax Service, Mechanicsburg, PA 06/2011 - 02/2012

I was a contract employee of LTS. Primarily I was responsible for

planning/budgeting, implementing, and evaluating the marketing program for

LTS. I was responsible for 6-8 direct report employee's daily, and training

the tax prepares on sales techniques to increase ARPU. LTS had one of their

best years under my direction.

Account Executive, Newport TV Group (CBS 21, CW 15), Harrisburg PA 08/2010

- 05/2011

My primary responsibility was new customer development for both on-air and

web content. During my time at Newport, I

achieved the company's goals for NRS and SIL (excess inventory sales

programs) Primarily a hunter role, with a lot of cold calling.

Coordinator of Specialty Publications, Clipper Magazine, Lancaster PA

04/2003 - 08/2010

I started as an account executive in Harrisburg for Clipper Magazine. I was

asked to join several technology and web based focus

groups, to develop new forms of internal communications and advertising

opportunities on the web. I managed the successful

launch of several specialty publications such as the Taste dining guide and

the Haven (home decor) guide, and I was promoted to

Coordinator of Specialty Publications. In this role, I managed the sales

force, which was pulled together from members of the

York, Reading, Harrisburg, and Lancaster sales teams. Plus, I was

responsible for overseeing the design team for content in the

magazine, the production team for making press deadlines, as well as the

business analysts to oversee profitability. In the early

days at Clipper I had to build my book of business from scratch, which

involved tremendous amount of cold calls and door

swings.

Real Estate Specialist/Outside Sales, The Patriot-News, Harrisburg PA

02/1999 - 04/2003

I started as an outside sales representative, in 2000 and 2001 I was

awarded Sales Representative of the Year, which lead to my

promotion to Real Estate Specialist. In my tenure with The Patriot-News, I

was fortunate to win a coveted PNPA (PA Newspaper

Association) First Place Award for Specialty/Niche Publications. I was

responsible for one of the two largest territories within the paper, and

consistently over achieved my sales goals.

General Manager, P&L Distributing, Lewistown PA 01/1992 - 12/1998

I stated as an outside sales representative, but my success quickly lead to

a promotion as Marketing Director. While I served as

Marketing Director, the company saw double and triple digit growth figures

year over year. I was promoted to General Manager

and guided the company, until it was acquired by a larger distributor.

Outside Sales Representative, York Daily Record, York PA 1990-1992

I was a retail advertising outside sales representative until a joint

operating merger with the York Dispatch eliminated a third of the

sales staff.

calling and hunting for new business. I also have extensive experience in

mentoring sales people, and leading them to achieve goals they

thought they could not achieve.
