ACADEMIC Project:

PROJECT TITILE:

Transformer Protection By using PLC( Power Line Carrier Communication).

Description:

The project is designed with a concept to communicate over power line for monitoring the transformer voltage and current. This can be further modified to monitor other parameters like temperature and voltage and oil level etc. The PLCC modem can be used to monitor the power theft in transmission line. This project can be expanded to network multiple PLCC modems in a chain to monitor entire power system and distribution line. A close monitoring of different parameters can help the transformer to protect against over loading or abnormal voltage fluctuation.

INPLANT Training:

* Undergone inplant training in IREL(Indian Rare Earth Limited), Chattrapur,Odisha for a period of 30 days and learnt about Working Operation & Maintenance.

industrial visit:

* Visited Bhusan Steel Plant at Jharsuguda, observed the working operation and machineary maintenance.

* Visited SouthCo. (Southern electricity),Berhampur,Odisha know about how the power is supplying to the different substations, Maintenance.
