Performed initial implementation and production support for Charles River Order Management System and subsequent upgrades.

Designed and developed User Entitlements, Trading Workflows, Compliance Rules. Set up FIX, SWIFT, Real Time Processing (RTAPI) interfaces.

Designed and developed various utilities, reports and interfaces with other applications such as Accounting, Corporate Actions, Risk Monitoring etc.

Designed and developed unix and perl scripts to perform data loading, BOD setting of systems, intra-day processing and reporting. Designed and developed PL SQL packages and triggers to handle database tasks.

Oracle PL/SQL Programmer

Performed back end UNIX, Oracle PL SQL development for BDAP System. This content management system has replaced existing Bloomberg system of gathering, processing and storing/retrieval of financial data in the form of News, Company related information as well as company’s financial and other documents. The data is processed on real time basis as and when news comes or at a pre-defined time, such as monthly/ quarterly/yearly financial documents of a company. The data once received is scanned thru Documentum system and then processed by various departments. The data is massaged and stored in the backend Oracle database for quick retrieval.

Performed database modeling, design and development of Profiles, Fundamentals sub-systems. Developed Unix shell scripts for loading and massaging of data and PL SQL stored procedures/packages/ triggers to support database interfaces and front-end processes.

Carried out performance tuning and optimization of complex SQL queries.

UNIX scripting, C, Porch++ and Oracle PL SQL Programmer

Instrumental in backend UNIX, Oracle PL/SQL, ProC++ development for Export Clearance system, for providing up-to-date EDI documents to customs for goods transported across Canada and US border. This application extracts order information from Supply Chain Order System and feeds to the Inventory system. The inventory system allocates and adjusts the inventory level for an order. This information is then processed in DelFour Logistic system, which arranges for collection of order items from various plants in Canada and provides transportation of it as per Bill of Landing. The export system generates various EDI documents for goods to be delivered and its transportation details, to facilitate smooth checkout at the customs checkpoint.

Performed analysis, Design, development of database interfaces for this System

Developed hourly reports for price and quantity variations between the order placed by the customer and the order filled by the inventory system.

Developed various EDI interfaces using C/ProC++ and embedded PL/SQL stored packages and procedures. Also developed Unix and AutoSys job-scheduling scripts for the same.

Performance tuning of SQL queries.
