Developer: Time Qatar (Musheireb Properties).

Main Contractor: Obayashi/HBK (Joint Venture).

Architectural Contractor: Classical Palace (Architecture, Interior & Landscaping). Construction Permanent Site: Musheireb Downtown Doha, Qatar. Supervision Consultant: CEG International.

Project: Musheireb Downtown Project (AH-234, Phase 3) Qatar. Achievement: 30 Million Safe Man Hours Without LTI. Responsibility: -

Arrange safety training programmes for the workers in accordance with the main contractors HSE training plan such as S3TS, TBT training, induction & refresher training which covers the basic training & specific job training/familiarisation. Submit safety inspection report daily to my company HSE department. Conduct inspection for different equipment used at site, including aluminium mobile scaffold, fire extinguishers, power tools & machineries. Supervise the ongoing activities in the site in order to ensure that workers are complying with the company's HSE policy & government safety regulations. Ensuring good standard of housekeeping & effective use of proper PPE at site. Giving expert HSE advice to the staff & the labourers. Issue permit upon request such as work access control permit, energised room permit, hot work permit, permit to open edge protection, confined space entry permit, permit to operate inside the lift shaft etc.

Conduct daily tool box talk.

Prevent injuries at the workplace and provide safe facilities, equipment and materials to work on site

Access, report and record loss causing situation or circumstance. Conduct HSE induction to new employees starting of work which covers the company’s HSE rules.

Ensure compliance with organisation policy.

Ensuring that all Inspection Activities are being carried out as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and per relevant Procedures, Standards and Codes. Develop and execute training programmes for personnel such as safety campaign, emergency mock drill and job refresher trainings.

Responsibility: -

Recognized potential hazards and work to resolve them within set timeline. Record daily HSE activities, conduct daily Tool Box Talk, Submit Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports to Company HSE Department.

Work precisely according to procedure, rules and regulations. Carrying out daily inspections in order to ensure that only safe work method is in operation, that health and safety requirement are being observed and that welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained. Inspection on all safety equipment (fire extinguishers, gas detector, fire pumps, fire alarm, control panel, safety harness and PPE.)

Assist with the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes & recommend remedial actions.
