• Responsible for the maintaining and reporting of Title V Air Permit, Wastewater Discharge Permit, RCRA as pertaining to waste disposal at a large quantity level, Tier II and additional common environmental programs reporting and compliance.
• Improved workflow processes to maximize efficiencies and enhanced operations. At this point the facility department layout has been modified in a manner better conducive to product flow. This directly impacted WIP and waste. In addition, product completion times improved.

• Responsible for process safety-related processes at CPKelco, a biogums manufacturer.
• Responsible for managing the identification, assessment, and control of unacceptable risks identified in Process Hazard Analyses.
• Participated in HAZOP-LOPAs and Occupied Building Risk Assessments in CPK and HEW sites in the USA and Brazil.
• Led the region Process Safety Management (PSM) efforts in achieving a 55% reduction in the identified risk profile for the company by addressing unacceptable risks with administrative or engineering control solutions.
• Developed PHA Action Tracking spreadsheet that allowed sites to maintain a list of prioritized actions resulting from process hazard analyses and shows the overall risk profile and risk reduction for the company.
• Converted the calendar for PSM from SharePoint to a shared Outlook calendar to have a one-stop place for all activities involving the PSM efforts of J.M. Huber. Calendar is used by all regions to coordinate PSM training, meetings, audits, and hazard analyses.
• Led preparations for and helped conduct comprehensive EHS Management System Conformance and Regulatory Compliance audits for four different sites in three business units within J.M. Huber. Responsible for developing conformance findings, 3
documenting evidence compiled during the audit, redesigning the audit report format, and upgrading the audit protocols to allow for more timely preparation of closing meetings and final conformance reports.
• Reviewed performance history and permit application for control equipment at Modesto, California, site and proposed new permit conditions that allowed for proper demonstration of compliance. Met with the Air Pollution Control District to reach consensus on acceptable terms and permitting path-forward.
• Conceptualized and created site-specific calendars for eight CP Kelco facilities to streamline strategic business planning. These calendars are accessible by everyone who potentially impacts the manufacturing facilities through audits, visits, or other requests, and allows the facilities to show their commitments when competing priorities arise.
• Developed, implemented, and consolidated data from a World Class Safety survey of sites with exceptional EH&S performance for a sustained period in order to share learnings across the remainder of sites within J.M. Huber.
• Participated in detailed incident investigations within three different business units (CPK, HEW, HEM) for fires, explosions, and environmental incidents using the Effects, Conditions and Causal Factors (ECF) methodology.
• Responsible for documenting the chain of events prior to and after the incidents, contributing conditions, and corrective actions necessary to prevent recurrence. At a HEW site, led investigation team’s review of a permit exceedance regarding operational temperature of pollution control equipment that had resulted in a week-long deviation.
