Led the cost control team for the main contractor of a USD 780 M High rise Mixed use development;

Prepared Quarterly Overhead and Profit monitoring report, updating the Project Budget, EAC, Revenue, Profit and OH estimates, based on changes in Labor, Staff and Equipment Histograms, Productivity and Actual Costs rates, scope changes due to Variation Orders and/or Provisional Sums and new agreements or contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors;

Accomplishment

Introduced a new automated daily progress and productivity (for +3000 labor/day) reporting system and provided guidance and support to site team to ensure effective system application. The new reporting system increased reporting efficiency by decreasing data entry working hours, and allowing more time for data analysis. The system decreased as well the cost team from 4 to 2 members only.

Created an integrated and detailed cost model to actively compare and monitor the commercial value, actual cost and determine the overhead and profit for a the main contractor of a +USD 760 M project, incorporating a variety of trades and disciplines and over 100 sub-contractor and supplier. The model considered continues changing in contractual agreements with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors, site productivity rates, and market.

Established a cost model to estimate the project’s future costs. The cost model incorporated: the inconsistent actual costs incurred by different sub-contractors over the course of the project, as well as the remaining scope of work with consideration of market prices and contractual changes in future contracts.
