Summary

Twenty five years of experience in the Engineering and Construction Project Controls arena. Expertise in Planning and Scheduling using Primavera P6 ver.15.23, MS Project, various progress measurement tracking systems, and material management systems, as well as all MS Office applications. Assignments have included home office and field projects, both revamps and grassroots. I have conducted E-P-C interactive scheduling sessions with discipline leads, project management, and procurement and construction personnel. I’ve produced baselined level III & IV project schedules, resource loaded schedules with histograms and S-Curves, 2-3 week look-ahead schedules, and what if schedules, As well as variance reports. I have developed generic E-P-C logic diagrams for new project use. Project types have included Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, Chemical, and Power.

Stress Engineering – (January 2019 – April 2019) – Houston TX

Project Planner/Scheduler

Contract Position, Responsibilities included development of an EPC schedule and monitoring of a $70M steam boiler project. I worked with each discipline in development of the logic and durations for their deliverables. I conducted interactive scheduling sessions. Resource loaded the schedule and produced man-hour/man-power spreadsheets. I conducted 2-3 week look-ahead schedule meetings. Worked with construction management to do back to front scheduling.

JGC America – (September 2018 – November 2018) – Houston, TX

Planner/Scheduler

Contract Position, Responsibilities included development of a proposal E-P-C Schedule for bidding purposes. I worked with each discipline in development of the logic and durations for their deliverables. And conducted interactive scheduling sessions. The construction part of the proposal schedule was developed by a joint venture company, S&B, built in the same

Primavera P6 schedule data base.

Covestro Chemical Company – (May 2017 – February 2018) – Baytown, TX

Project Scheduler

Contract Position, This $55M project was to upgrade and install a new polycarbonate extruder pelletizer line to better compete with the world market. Responsibilities include development and monitoring/progressing of the in house FEED and E-P-C project schedule. Detail Engineering, and Construction. Working with Project Management and all discipline leads in conducting interactive scheduling sessions utilizing Primavera P6. Develop monthly discipline progress curves via resource loaded schedule. Conducted 2-week look-ahead schedule meetings.

Jacobs Engineering – (February 2011 – April 2015) – Houston, TX

I worked on various E-P-C projects, downstream, upstream, and multi projects group. I worked in both client and Jacobs Citrix P6 databases. Fluor Daniel Corp. – (February 2008 – June 2009) – Houston, TX

Senior Planner / Scheduler

Valero CCR Project. 1.2B. Responsible for the development and the monitoring of the FEED schedule, and development of a Level III EPC schedule utilizing Primavera 3.1 and 5.0. Worked with discipline leads, procurement and construction personnel.

Foster Wheeler USA – (September 2006 – December 2007) – Houston, TX

Lead Planner / Scheduler

BP OCC Delayed Coker Project. Responsible for the development and monitoring of the FEED and EPFC schedules utilizing Primavera P3, and upgrading to P5.0. Intergraded the schedule with other contractor’s schedules (Flour & Jacobs) involved in the project. Worked with discipline leads for schedule development and progressing.

KBR - Halliburton – (May 2005 – April 2006) – Houston, TX

Construction Planner / Scheduler

Responsible for developing a FEL 3 Level II construction schedule with the construction management team and resource load 100k+ man-hours. Produced what-if schedules, progress measurement per month, histograms and curves. An estimated $2.5 billion dollar Algerian LNG project.

Valero Energy Corporation - (November 2003 – February 2005) – San Antonio, TX

Project Controls Engineer

I was contract with Maverick Engineering, Victoria, TX. Contracted to Valero Energy Corporation Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. Assigned to the Pipeline & Terminals division providing Project Controls support to management on multiple projects. I scheduled using MS Project and did the cost in SAP. Worked with the Engineering Director to provide a weekly report for upper management. The report included schedules, cost reports, graphs, and charts.

S & B Engineers and Contractors - (February 1998 - July 1999) - Houston, TX

Project Controls Engineer

Developed EPC integrated Primavera project schedules for various types of projects. Including engineering and construction produced man-hour histograms, cost projections, and cash flow curves. Worked with discipline leads, procurement and construction personnel.

Dow Chemical Company - (November 1996 - February 1998) - Houston, TX

Project Control Lead

A 135M Polypropylene grassroots project at the Freeport, Texas plant. Responsibilities included development and tracking of EPC Primavera schedules, resource loading / staffing curves. Worked with all discipline leads and plant personnel.

Bechtel Corporation - (October 1988 - August 1996) - Houston, TX

Senior Project Controls Engineer - Worked various long range projects.

Tampa Electric Co., Polk Power Station Project, 260 megawatt Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle grassroots power plant. Responsible for Primavera developed EPC/CPM schedules, manpower loading, histograms, progress and performance tracking with written analysis.

Mobil Aramchem MTBE facility. Responsible for Primavera developed E-P-C schedules, manpower loading, histograms, progress and performance tracking with written analysis.

Lyondell Petrochemical Co., Benzene NESHAP compliance wastewater project. Developed Primavera manpower loaded project schedules with written progress analysis.

Union Carbide Corp., Taft. LA, Ethylene Oxide Unit expansion and conversion project. Developed Primavera manpower loaded project schedules.

Union Carbide Corp., Olefins Furnace Heater project. Responsible for development and maintaining the project schedule.

Field Planner/Scheduler

Champion Paper Corp. Converted a brown paper manufacture to a fine white paper process, installing a Bleach Plant, Chemical Preparation Building, Paper Machine and Wood Chip Yard. Developed and progressed 90-day look-ahead construction schedules. Weekly reporting. Tracked craft man-hours.
