Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations.

My Daily activities are to ensure all operations, productions are within client specifications and company requirement.

Increased productivity by 42% within 3 months. Established leadership teams for each process, identify and removed constraints, redesigned process flow to a cell design increasing productivity while improving quality performance.

Implemented KPI's and targets achieving 46% increase in factory output within one year no additional headcount; developed plan to generate an additional 100% increase over the two-year period.

Implemented supplier Kanban strategy coupled with APQP quality method to improve purchased part quality and supplier OTD and reduce supplier lead time and cost. Achieved Six Sigma supplier OTD for 18 suppliers and reduced supplier returns, supplier lead time, and overall purchasing costs.

General Manager Operations.

Responsible for daily operations, address staffing requirements and handle customer concerns. Managed the Operation for all OEM. Fully engaged during the R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication stages of the project to ensure compliance with the project specifications.

Lead and direct all facets of the organization through functional managers including sales, purchasing, manufacturing operations, engineering, and quality. Implemented lean manufacturing principles throughout the organization including manufacturing work cells, just in time - Kanban inventory, setup reduction, and quality at the source. Resulted in manufacturing lead-time reduction from 6 weeks to 2 days, inventory turns from 3 per year to 12, and quote to cash cycles from an average of 105 to 30 days.

Achieved ISO 9001Certification (as management representative) at first registration audit with 3rd party registrar. Resulted in rework and scrap reduction from 4% of sales to .25% of sales and on-time delivery performance improvement from 85% to 96%.

Implemented strategic planning program to provide both short- and long-term direction for the company. Results included company growth, profitability, and establishing international sales distributors for company products.

Achieved 2008 global marketplace Export Achievement Certificate recognition from the United States Department of Commerce U.S. Commercial Service resultant of successfully entering and selling press automation products in offshore markets.

Oversaw end-to-end delivery of product design, strategy, brand, technology, resourcing, and design research programs.
