Control & Instrumentation Engineer

PROJECT EXPERIENCE: -

1.Erected & commissioned complete DCS controlled 10 MW CPP at SHREE SHAKAMBARI FERRO ALLOYES PVT LTD. The following activities were carried out during the Project.

Erection & commissioning of DCS having more than 2000 I/O s model DCS EMERSON DELTAV, Profi-bus DP, Mod bus are used as communication protocols.

DCS logic modification according to our requirement.

Erection & commissioning of field instruments.

Planning for daily manpower engagement.

2.Level transmitter installation in steam drum, deaerator, hot well and cooling tower.

Pressure transmitter installation in furnace bed, steam drum, deaerator, hot well, turbine HP side and turbine LP side.

3.Flow transmitter installation from boiler to high pressure header, hp header turbine, feedwater from deaerator to steam drum (orifice and venturi tube).

4.Installation and commissioning of RTD (PT-100) in turbine and thermocouple (k-type) in boiler area.

Maintenance:

Maintenance of Field Instruments in BOILER (WHRB, AFBC,) and TURBINE.

Troubleshooting in Process Instrument and control loop logics.

Installation and Calibration of Electrical actuators. (Auma, Rotork,).

Calibration & Maintenance of field instruments and preparing schedule for maintenance. (Make: Rose mount, ABB, Yokogawa, Honey well).

Familiar with field instruments like Thermocouples, RTD s, Limit Switch, solenoid valves, flame scanner and their applications.

Experience in gauges such as Pressure gauges, Temperature gauge of different types and ranging, pneumatic actuators and pressure switches.

Installation of Flow / Level / Pressure/Temperature transmitter and online Calibration using HART communicator.

Familiarity with following design documentation Block diagrams, Termination diagrams, Schematics, loop diagrams, Functional Logic diagrams, Instrument layouts, P&ID, Cause and effects.

Knowledge of Auxiliary system such as Air Compressor-Dryer, ESP, Ash Handling system, Soot blower and their control system troubleshooting.

Assist maintenance department in equipment maintenance.

Observe overall plant equipment health, and initiate changes to improve plant perform
