Summary

I'm experienced in business reporting, business process automation, OLTP, OLAP, BI, DWH, and ETL. The data layer of systems I've written have been largely within MSSQL 2005/2008/2012, with ETL and application layers in Java, VBA, XML, and/or PHP, depending on business requirements. Taking simple data storage and adding OLAP and BI capabilities enabled many small and medium operations in the past to double their business without expanding labor hours. Reporting experience through the career includes SSRS and web-based PHP reports. Data integration and data mapping from source data experience includes SSIS, Altova products, and custom software configuration. Experience working with structured and unstructured data in ETL and reporting environments. I've also written SQL triggers for logging, ETL, and data consistency purposes. I've also maintained cubes in SSAS, and provided additional functionality through this role as well.

Strengths include:

●Multi-platform SQL development expertise

●Quickly learn new technologies

●Creative solution design

●Complex ETL design

●Agile methods

●Self-motivated, detail-oriented, performance-focused
