●Managing an Agency for 4 years: Mark was the Managing Partner of a highly successful boutique Agency that specialized in providing strategy, interim management, brand and go to market services to CEOs/Owners looking to dramatically increase growth, attract investment, go public or to be acquired. Accomplishments = $0 to $2.5M in 24 months.

●Managing a Recruiting Business for 3 years: Re-engineered a 20-year-old privately owned Executive Recruiting Business to an IT Recruiting business by taking it from $2.5M to $12.3M within 24 months by transforming its business model and signing a new $8M annual contract with IBM.

●Managed 3 B2B Tele-sales/1800 Technology Product Companies over 8 years managing all functions including sales, support, marketing, product, pricing, product development, training and warehouse distribution – the largest one was a 150-person operation that he took from $23M to $63M with 24 months while also doubling profit.

●Successfully launched a new PC/Software Tele-sales/Ecommerce company that achieved $12M within 12 months: Mark conceived, developed the unsolicited business plan and raised $1.5M funding to launch a new PC/software/accessories company where he managed all functions that sold over $12M in its first year with a $3M+ profit after repaying the initial $1.5M investment.

Mark was recruited from Crowntek to join its direct competitor (SHL Systemhouse/Computerland with $900M in revenues) by its President to re-engineer their underperforming Call Center, tele-sales and Catalogue business which had a staff of 150+, and a 5000+ sku product line.

Accomplishments: Mark created a new marcom program that leveraged catalogue space that attracted over $4M in funding from suppliers including IBM, HP and Compaq and then created and implemented a new marketing strategy and successful advertising campaign that grew the business from $23M to over $63M within 24 months. Mark created and managed a $4.5M marketing and print budget and distributed over 900,000 catalogs a year to corporate end users.

Accomplishments: Mark conceived the new Tele-sales PC/Software Company, wrote the unsolicited business plan and got funding approval for $1.5M to launch a startup stand-alone division for this $700M+ PC Distributor of IBM, Compaq and HP computer equipment. Mark designed the systems, distribution operations, hired all 35 employees, chose product and pricing and achieved $12+M in sales within 12 months of launch with a contribution to ownership of over $3M after repaying the initial $1.5M investment.
