Project Details:
Project 1: “Song based library Management using Files through authentication”
Project brief:
The objective was to authenticate a user by signing up the user details at the begin and while signing in the user should ask for redundancy check and the password matching technique. The fread, fwrite functions are used to read and write the block of data to file and fseek and ftell functions are used to set the file positions and identify the cursor positions of the file. By using this technique, we can add, display, delete, modify a song to the library.
Technologies Used: Embedded C – File operations, Pointers, Strings, Functions, Make files.
Key challenges and learning:
Understanding various operations about file pointers.
Transforming the embedded information to the destination.
Faced challenges during redundancy checking process.
Project 2: “Bluetooth Controlled Robot using Arduino”
Project brief:
The main objective of the project is to control the movements of the robot through a Bluetooth using Bluetooth controlled android app.
Technologies Used: Embedded C, Arduino Uno board, Bluetooth HC-05.
Project 3: “Sound Controlled Robot using Arduino”
Project brief:
The main objective of the project is to control the movements of the robot through a sound.
Technologies Used: Embedded C, Arduino Uno board, sound sensor.
Project 4: “Automatic Water Level Controller” (Single phase & three phase)
Project brief:
The level of the water in a tank is controlled by this device. Normally, water is filled to the tank by manual process i.e. by switching on the motor and when the water overflows the motor is switched off manually. This process is time consuming and wastage of water and increased electricity bill also occurs. In order to avoid this, we use a technique of turning the motor to switch on and off automatically by checking the level of the water in the overhead tank and sump.
Technologies Used: Embedded C, 8051, keil compiler, lm324, Relay
Project 5: “An Innovative Technique for automatic Door Locking and Opening System for Washrooms in Trains”
Project Brief:
This project explains the automatic Door Locking system for washrooms in Trains which is 1km away from station which avoids littering of human wastes in the tracks, and opening its door when it crosses 1km after the station. An emergency keypad feature is used here to open the doors of the washroom specially for elderly people, when the doors are closed.
Technologies Used: Python, Raspberry Pi, Raspbian OS, wiringPi.
Key challenges and learning:
Designing the schematic diagram required for the flow of project.
Understanding about Raspberry Pi processor and various components required in the project.
Setting up the Raspbian OS required to compile and burn the code into the SD card of the Raspberry Pi processor.
Designed a line following robot with LED-LDR assembly for demonstration purposes which moves like a train.
Challenges are faced during sensor detection time and an emergency keypad feature has to implemented simultaneously.
Extra-Curricular Activities:
Reading Books.
Playing Chess.
