Reporting to the Executive Director (Mongolia) with the primary purpose of managing all financial and commercial functions in Mongolia whilst driving continuous improvement within the local finance teams, both corporate and project based.

Thiess Contractors Canada

Thiess Contractors Canada entered the Canadian market in 2016 with their first project being in the Oil Sands, contracting to Suncor to provide mining services at Suncor Base Mine and Fort Hills.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT• DEC18 – MAY19

Reporting to the Country Finance Manager with the responsibility of managing the reporting requirements for the TCC group and assisting in demobilization activities for the Thiess KMC JV.

Key tasks:

Assist in development of Thiess demobilization budget and on-going reporting as a part of the Oil Sands demobilization.

Manage process for sale of mining equipment during demobilization including review of sales contracts.

Lead the resolution of contractual issues between JV partner, head contract party and subcontractors.

Management of TCC and associated companies monthly result and overhead reporting.

Ongoing management of Thiess KMC JV result and reporting requirements.
