With more than 100 billion assets, it has widely captured the market and leads in the networking business. Cisco has implemented ORACLE APPS software to support its business. The business is so complex and various system with various technology integrations, ORACLE itself has analysed and trying to bring a new module to suit such kind of business.
Cisco customized SCM (Supply Chain Management) flow into 4 tracks PLAN, SOURCE, MAKE and DELIVER. I work for the MAKE track, which forms the crest of the tracks and Order Fulfilment.
Post implementation of R12 migration project (Large Scale Services – LSS Project), Cisco took various initiatives to introduce new Enhancements & Customizations. Those are being handled under different projects which are “Fulfilment and Return Processes”, “Enable BOM (Bill Of Materials) Option Class for BTS (Bill to Stock) Fulfilment”, “Component Buy Sell”, “Drop Shipment”, “RTV (Return to Vendor) Stabilization”, “Brazil Localization”, “Cisco UOV Tool Implementation”, “Make Process Stabilization”, “Process Automation”, “DevSC”, “Fulfilment Flexibility” and “New Initiatives”.
Above mentioned projects were aligned to Quarterly & Monthly Releases spanning across many fiscal years. Approved scopes were being deployed to Production Environment successfully.
Responsibilities :
Developing UI (User Interface) Screens using Angular6, SAP HANA Views for Reporting, HIVE Queries for Analysis using HADOOP, Complex Oracle backend Objects and Oracle Application Development using OAF (Oracle Applications Framework), Collections in MangoDB
New Requirement discussions with Business & Users as a part Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Technical Challenges were put-forward during Functional review if any, to re-consider given Solution
Collaborate with Cross-Functional teams on the integration points between Make Track and other Tracks.

As a part of LSS (Large Scale Services) Project, Cisco considered to Implement RosettaNet. RosettaNet is a Business Protocol that enables Enterprises to conduct Business over the Internet. The RosettaNet Consortium is an Independent, Non-Profit Consortium of Major Information Technology, Electronic Component and Semi-Conductor Manufacturing working to Create and Implement Industry-Wide, open process standards. These Processes are designed to Standardize the Electronic Business Interfaces used between participating Supply Chain Partners. The RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) specification is a Guideline for Applications that Implement RosettaNet Partner Interface Process (PIP). These PIPs are standardized Electronic Business Process used between trading Partners.

Maintaining Code Versions in PVCS and Migrating to different Instances through APPDB Tool (Cisco In-House Project) and Kintana Packages.
Handling the Ad hoc requests from Cisco India (Client) Team which may include Analysis, Minor Enhancement and so on.

LSS (Large Scale Services) – R12 Migration Project involves migrating all Supply Chain Manufacturing functionalities from Oracle ERP 11i to R12 instance. It includes to Implement Systems & Processes designed to Support CTO (Configure to Order) and BTS (Bill to Stock) models. Also enable all Manufacturing Partner Sites in R12 Instance and integration with the Partner System via Business-to-Business RosettaNet Standard Messages. Designed and led the team to implement Archive & Purge framework for MAKE track.

Monitoring, reporting (to the team) and fixing (as appropriate) failures related to scheduled jobs.
