Senior Project Manager – 7MD Device Rollout; Product Support and Logistics

Senior Project Manager as part of a $70M initiative to streamline POS and Inventory Management systems under a single, proprietary, Android based hardware device, called “7MD”. Liaison between 3rd Party Support Team (NEC), 3rd Party hardware provider/manufacturer (BBPOS) and 7-11 management. Scheduled the Dev Deployment, Test Deployment and Production Launch deployments. Designed hardware regression testing procedures for the new device. Participated in daily scrums and weekly progress meeting with C-level management on project progress, risks, and schedule deviations. Responsibilities included scheduling critical software and database release management to coincide with hardware first-use, designing (but not coding for) dashboards that collected analytics from devices, AWS S3 environment secure sync protocols, Service Now help desk ticketing specific to the 7MD product


Program Manager, IT Infrastructure, October 2018-February 2019

Program manager directly supporting evolving Network and Telephony teams for managing resources, schedules and costs associated with major network infrastructure and security infrastructure upgrades and hardening. Engage vendors, provide updates and PMI best-practice advice to IT Infrastructure management and staff to better plan, execute, deploy and release projects. Managed all projects in a Jira environment, under a Kanban model of agile project management practices. Retail financial - SOX and PCI compliance.

Projects include:

●Aspect v18.1 On-Prem Software Deployment– coordinated with Systems, Networking, DBA and internal customer leadership to provide a virtualized environment, including a virtual SQL 2016 database, for a new build of Aspect POS and Call Center management software for the business.

●Palo Alto Networks Architecture consultation – hosted and documented PAN SME’s to evaluate existing network performance, and provide a directed, phased, goal-driven roadmap to decrease possible security vulnerabilities and increase network traffic speeds.

●WP Cisco Switch Migration – Program manager for the design, installation, configuration, deployment and cutover of existing, outdated, end-of-service equipment, to updated Cisco 3850 and 9504 switches at the main campus of BHS, and the main datacenter for the Company.


Senior IT Project Manager/Program Manager, June 2017-October 2018

Portfolio Management – Monitoring and reporting of Active, Pipeline, Hold and New projects scheduled for TI Manufacturing in The Americas, Europe, Latin America, and Asia/Japan. Hosted and managed weekly update meetings with international PMO partners, encompassing TI MFG operations and Sub-consultant operations representing multiple millions of dollars in capital investment. Managed weekly program management reviews for a TI business vertical, encompassing 150+ projects at any given time.

Program Management – Provided iterative PMO best practices, including developing a new Charter Template, new Weekly “Quad Slide” formatting, developed and hosted learning sessions on best practices for Project Charter, Communications and Scheduling for technical (non-PM) staff at TI.

Project Management – Managed multiple projects across IT disciplines (HW, SW Security, and Networking), deploying PMI best practices retooled for the TI PMO environment. A brief list of completed projects includes:

●NIS Hardening – enterprise deployment of security patch to 10,000+ mainframe environments, worldwide, to enhance password security. Rea leveraged Kerberos authentication for legacy or questionably secure environments.

●RFAB DC Migration – moved an IT environment from a centrally managed Data Center, off physical servers, into a Virtualized (VM), locally managed Data Center, including associated databases. Migrations included Oracle DBs, SQL DBs, Data mining engines using Hadoop and SQL scripts, and tool-dependent control applications.

●Migrate CR Switches to new DC Cores – physical removal of core network switches. Relocating, reconfiguring, and rerouting of existing environments to new cores.

●Signiant Mobilize Infrastructure – deployment of secure data compression and transport software to development environments to transmit test scripts and receive test output data to a central management hub. All physical environments are virtualized (VM).

●SFAB Converged Infrastructure Hardware Deployment – vendor driven hardware construction, delivery, configuration, and incorporation of compute and storage appliances to accommodate future VM and filer storage, to reduce sever hardware overhead and virtualize compute space.

ATLAS Program - companywide stability initiative. PM for implementing OS Currency refresh and DB Currency refresh program for 4000+ servers across multiple application environments. Retail financial data - SOX and PCI compliance.

●Implemented project with over 30 application system owners across 54 critical application platforms.

●Airline reservation POS systems, crew-scheduling, hotel reservation, travel tracking and ticket sales software families.

Team lead for a companywide critical Data Migration - upgraded an Oracle Exadata X2 network appliance to a more robust Exadata X6 appliance to accommodate company-wide program goals.
