PROFESSIONAL ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently resolve difficult issues or problems requiring consideration of the total human resource management program.

Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment and onboarding actions utilizing boards or similar system to advertise vacancies and generate referral certificates and onboard candidates. Direct the recruitment staff. Manage projects and lead teams and working groups to accomplish staffing, recruitment and classification objectives and goals.

Develop and implement the plans and procedures necessary to recruit diverse quality candidates. Provide guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors explaining the various options for filling vacant positions.

Created company manuals and procedures from staffing, policy & procedures.

Use a point factor evaluation system and related company standards to evaluate positions.

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws and guidelines, including FLSA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation, unemployment insurance and immigration

Complete advanced classification and position management work such as company-wide position classification studies and reorganization management actions; establishing new positions and reviewing and classifying complex and diverse positions.

Research and prepare recommendations on compensation based on various factors such as candidate technical expertise and experience; consideration of total compensation and benefits; historical agency compensation decisions, as well as internal employee equity and experience; job market and locality considerations and current and historical recruiting results.

Serve as 401(k) plan trustee and administrator.
