Current Designation: Manager & Head Administration of a CBSE Affiliated School, New Delhi

Working with a leading educational group at Lodhi road, New Delhi. This Group has a wide presence across the country in the field of education and training.

As Manager of the School:

1. Conversant with Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973, School Manual, CBSE affiliation bylaws.

2. Calendar, set agenda and conduct School Managing committee meetings, get the minutes vetted and signed.

3. Calender, set agenda and conduct of PTA Executive Committee meetings, conduct of AGM

and election of Executive Committee members of PTA.

4. File annual return under section 17 ( 3) and 180 of DSER, 1973. This is based on audited

balance sheet of the school.

5. Successfully implemented 6th and 7th pay commission in the school. Attended to the hearings of

Delhi High appointed Justice Anil Dev committee and based on committee’s report filed a writ

in Delhi High Court. Attended hearing of Delhi Government appointed Fee Committee

successfully for implementation of seventh pay commission.

6. Conduct all school activities in compliance to DSER 1973, which includes recruitment of staff

including HoS. Conduct of Disciplinary Authority meetings etc, Conversant with recent

Supreme court and other court rulings on Act & Rules and its impact on the school.

7. Conduct fair and impartial school admission in the lines of DSER and applicable RTE rules.

8. As a single point of contact, meet, collaborate, coordinate, network and correspond with all

government agencies from time to time.

8. Successfully introduced and implemented Technology platform to ease out, Admissions,

Student Management System, Fees Management, Attendance Management, Transport

Management, Payroll, Student, Staff & Parent portal.

9. Project Head of starting up schools in Public Private Partnership(PPP) Model under Ministry of

HRD. Involved in complete tendering process duly conducted by Ministry of HRD &Niti

Aayog. We were awarded 10 schools, this project was shelved off by the government.

10. Involved in submitting proposal to Niti Aayog, GOI for Atal Innovation Centre and Atal Tinkering Lab. Awarded to one school.

11.Working with Principal’s of for the group's other three CBSE affiliated schools, located at Chandigarh, Jaipur & Jagdishpur. Conversant with respective State Education Act and apply to CBSE for extension of affiliation and help in correspondence with government/s. Help them with prevailing statutory rules & obligation/s.

12. Legal Matters:. Conduct of Disciplinary Authority procedures keeping in lines with DSER,

1973, take up litigations in Delhi School Tribunal/s and High Court/s.

As Head Administration, ensure the smooth functioning of campus in all aspects.

1. Facility Management: This includes regular upkeep, maintenance and renovation of all its infrastructure, installations and horticulture. Renewal of lifts license, fire NOC and safety and sanitary certificate from govt. agencies from time to time.

2. Safety & Security of premises : To streamline flow of visitors/ parents/vendors made infrastructural changes to create a sense of safe environment involved in deployment of security agency, installing several CCTV’s, regular police verification of male staff, maintain safe wifi campus. • Ensure safety measure such as fire evacuation drills and safety walk etc. on monthly basis. Aware with National Disaster Management Authority norms from time to time

3. Statutory Compliances: Conversant with contractual labour laws, EPFO, ESIC, Payment of Gratuity Act 1972, Maternity Benefit Act 1961, Minimum Wages Act, Dept. of Food Safety .Compliances related to other government agencies such as property tax, lease deed norms, delhi jal board and electricity department etc.,

4. Event Management: Conduct and coordinate several functions, conferences and workshops.

5. Government Connect : Liaisons with several government agencies such as Directorate of Education, CBSE, Govt. of NCT Land, Revenue Dept., CPWD, Ministry of HRD, MCD, NDMC, Delhi Jal Board, BSES, Local Police, Delhi Fire Department, Ministry of Urban Development, and other government departments from time to time.

7. Implementation of strict compliance to Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act 2012. Further, disseminate: gender sensitivity & diversity, conduct Induction session, Created guidance and counseling centres, School complaint’s committee and child help line number 1098.

8. Heading the team for deployment of contractual labour from out-sourced agencies for multiple locations. This includes selection of vendors based on their documentation and systems including statutory compliance, operating core team, quality & audit system and cost effectiveness to name a few. Preparing and signing of agreements after thoroughly vetting each clause etc., Conversant with SLA, escalation matrix and applicability of labour license. Conduct internal administrative audits for organizational effectiveness. Annual stock-taking & Inventory management.

9. As an alumnus, serve as a member of School Managing Committee of CSKM Public

School.

Some of the current assignments include:

1. Participated as Tender Committee member constituted, in a large size new institutional project (high rise building) at Rouse Avenue, New Delhi. The committee was tasked to; check and improvise technical specifications wherever necessary, in lines with the latest National Building standards and Codes leading to achieve green certification by GRIHA under the aegis of TERI and IGBC under CII. As Project Head involved in liaising for completion of building, achieving platinum & 5 star rating, negotiating with vendors for leasing out part of the property.

2. Moving towards green environment: Installation of Roof Solar Power Plant of 122.21 Kwp ( generating 1,70,000 kwh per year) thus saving electricity expenses of Rs. 15 Lakhs per annum and installation of Rain water harvesting in the campus.

3. Writing of several operational administrations SOP in order to standardize process.
