Preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with IAS, IFRS, etc. and ensure that adequate disclosures are made as per the standards are made.

Lead and participate in the monthly accounting closure ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policy.

Ensure closing of all the modules in time and posting of all entries in GL and all the provisions/accruals are booked accurately every month in the books.

Carrying out consolidation of accounts quarterly and yearly and ensure that all the consolidation adjustments including elimination entries, Equity method adjustments for JV’s, unrealized profit or loss, intercompany transactions & balances and profit are accurately made.

Providing and interpreting financial information.

Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and ensure annual and quarterly audits are completed within the deadline given. Ensure that all the audit schedules are prepared and given to the auditors on time.

Responding to all the queries related to Financial Statements from various stakeholders. Ex: - Ministry, Banks.

Complies with legal and regulatory requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.

Motivating and guiding staff, delegating tasks according to the capabilities of the subordinates’, providing technical assistance, supervising staffs and reviewing the works carried out by subordinates.

Assist in the preparation cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.

Analysis of actual performance against Budgets and Past period and communicate to the relevant departments and Top Management.

Oversee daily operations of the Accounts department and work with the CFO to develop short and long-term departmental plan in alignment with Company’s plan.

Assisting the CFO in the development of new policies and procedures to mitigate the loopholes in the control environment.

Responsible for project accounting: - Recognizing the revenues based on the milestones of the contracts, monitoring the budgeted cost against the actual and informing the project team about the progress and variations. Allocation of the costs to the revenue recognized based on appropriate methods. Maintaining the records of revenues, budgeted cost, actual cost, retentions and etc.

Hands on experience in prequalification and tendering process for KOC Projects.

Supervising periodic inventory counts and ensure that the inventory is carried on books accurately and make sure that the required provisions are made.

Hands on Experience in handling / arranging Letter of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantee

(LG) for projects requirements.

Liaising with banks and handling bid bonds and performance bonds for various project requirements and lead various bank transactions.

Preparation of cash flow projections and budgets for the banks requirement.

Scrutiny of ledger balances on timely manner and investigate the major variances.

Preparation of daily liquidity report based on the bank balances.

Interacting with inter departments for smooth operations of the company.

Lead and participate in the preparation of bank reconciliation of all the bank accounts on a timely manner.

Reconciling Sub Ledgers with the General Ledger for AR and AP including vendor down payments on monthly basis.

Perform various finance and accounting related duties as required.

Hands on Experience in handling insurance policies for various projects requirement.

Involved in the implementation of New ERP System i.e. MS Dynamics. GOFSCO (Gas & Oil Field Services Company) is a Kuwaiti Shareholding closed company with an employee base of over 350. Overall in charge of audits and responsible for comprehensive completion of all areas of audit work in a timely and competent manner.

Supervising the annual inventory count of clients and make sure that the inventory is valued in the books of accounts as per relevant standards and ensure that the required provisions are made.

Understanding and Reviewing of internal controls and systems related to financial transactions and identify any weaknesses in the controls and communicate the weaknesses to the management though Management Letter.

Direct field work, inform the Engagement Managers, the status and manage assurance staff performance;
