Active participant in Lean Six Sigma Kaizen project for Telehealth to Home which increased our facilities utilization of specific modality from 0.74% to 2.01% in less than six months, and yields an annual cost savings of over $600,000 per year
Initiated Telehealth Clinical Tour change which saved our facility 1,040 hours of non-productive work time spread across 8 employees
Extensively traveled for the promotion of Telehealth to South Dakota State University, Dakota State University, University of South Dakota and majority of county Veteran Service Officers’ in efforts to educate local communities and retain patients in our healthcare system
Implemented Veterans Integrated Service Network-wide Store and Forward auditing process which was adopted in 8 other health care systems

Developed telehealth capabilities and launched the VA’s ‘Anywhere to Anywhere’ program for veterans to receive care on cellphones, tablets, or computers regardless of location, including at home
Abolished Electronic Wait List for outpatient Dermatology with the implementation of Store and Forward Dermatology, diminishing wait times of more than nine months to less than two weeks for clinic dermatology appointments
Consistently maintained equal to or more than 4 out of 5 patient satisfaction scores for all Telehealth Programs
Used technology and provided services through Interfacility Clinical Video Telehealth to avoid sending veterans out to the community for care and averting extensive travel therefore increasing access to clinic sub specialties that are difficult to recruit for this location
