Job Responsibilities :

•Identify hazards, assess the risk on initiation of a new activity and ensure that control measure are identified prior to the initiation of the project and closely followed until the completion of the project.

•Promote safety at work, carryout inspection of worksites, Plant, Equipment and work processes and recommend measures for safety improvement.

•Exercise emergency stop works where imminent risk to employees, subcontractors or 3rd parties exists and immediate action is required.

•Correct and report unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.

•Ensures all safety control measures and requirements of the construction phase safety plan are implemented at all times.

•Assist in accident investigation and implement any additional control measures to improve safety as required by the Incident Action Plan.

•Set a high personal standard of HSE compliance at all times.

•Complete any training deemed necessary to remain current with company and industry requirements.

•Advice and influence at all levels of management on measures to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards and risks.

Job Description :

•Responsible to the company management to establish, implement and maintain the safety system in accordance with company safety policy, procedures and manual.

•Ensure that the companies and client's safety policy and procedure are duly complied with.

•Ensure that the relevant P.P.E. is worn by every person on the work site.

•Carry out walk around inspections and audits forming part of the team.

•Carryout on the job safety inspections to ensure the safe methods of working, safety surveys and audit on prevailing safety performance and report to the relevant levels.

•Ensure that "Tool Box talk" is given to the task force on typical safety requirements, prior to commencement of such task.
