Atomic Absorbtion Spectrometry is a technique for measuring quantities of chemical elements present in the samples by measuring the absorbed radiation.
Soil Stabilization by using Quarry dust
Quarry dust is mixed with black cotton soil sample in different proportions (0 to 40%)and their influence on geotechnical properties of black cotton soil were studied. From our results, it is observed that at optimum %, i.e., 30% Quarry dust, there is a marked improvement in the strength of soil. Partial replacement of Bitumen with Alkali resistant glass fiber Glass fiber is mixed with Bitumen, perform the Marshall Stability test procedure and find out the flow value, %voids, VFB and stability, ductility and penetration values by adding 5 to 15% of glass fiber by replacing Bitumen. The Maximum Marshall Stability value occurred at 5% binder content for 5% of Alkali resistant glass fiber.

These Paving units with joints that create openings in the pavement surface when assembled into a pattern. Through this holes the water can percolate. Compressive strength of block for 7,14 and 28 days is 29.55Mpa, 29.96Mpa and 30.48 Mpa.
