products and processes, may need creative thinking coupled with a team outlook, to solve issues. I have experience in
streamlining processes, and also adept at laboratory management and extensively trained in safety and equipment
maintenance.
I have expertise knowledge in several lab instruments and systems, where I have created methods and SOPs (standard
operating procedures) for use in the lab. I am a resourceful professional capable of leading a lab in being an efficient and
accurate testing facility. My continual focus at creating a more economical lab has resulted in me finding ways to
maintain a lean and resourceful lab. One example is I saved almost $11,000 per year by initiating a recycling program for
the lab. As a leader of safety, I created a Safety Committee for the site and lead to the plant to a zero recordable for 2015-
2016.

Work Experience
Senior Lab Analyst 11/2014 to
Current
ChemTrade Logistics Augusta,
GA
Written SOPs and JSAs (job Safety Assessment). I Utilized SPC for the lab. Set up and verify the functionality of safety
equipment. Consistently adhere to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental
compliance. Created new laboratory processes. Troubleshoot various issues in the lab. Coordinated all personnel
involved in testing labs. Compiled and analyzed test information. I performed various chemical analyses, with in the lab.
Single-handedly ran a lab facility for a team of five people working across three departments. Managed the quality
control department for 2 .5 years. I am a member of the RC14001 team on site, responsible for the quality department.
The lab I oversaw used SAP, for COA creation and product release.
Lab Technician 03/2012 to
11/2014
GSK North Augusta,
SC
Maintaining up-to-date records of product technical data sheet and certificate of analysis was part of my responsibilities.
Evaluated and inspected incoming raw materials. I conducted both qualitative and quantitative analysis. I analyzed heavy
metals such as Cr, Cu and Ag. Drafted reports on all test and research results. I Initiated assays, moisture determination,
wet chemistry, and titrations. I conferred with scientists and engineers on conducting analyses of research projects. I
used track wise to help in investigating out of parameter products
Senior Lab Technician 06/2002 to 03/2012
Cytec Augusta,
GA
Employed chromatography, spectroscopy and spectrophotometry techniques. Created new laboratory processes.
Compiled and analyzed test information. Was part of a team of researchers, including three chemists, two chemical
engineers, and four lab technicians. Conferred with scientists and engineers on conducting analyses of research projects.
Wrote technical papers and reports. I performed assays, moisture determination, wet chemistry and titrations on products.
I used Labware in the lab. Evaluated and inspected incoming raw materials.
