This large university hospital with annual visitors of more than 350,000 patient /year I spent there 6 months as a part of my post graduate training program to achieve my master degree. Training included specialties as pediatric cardiology including post catheterization care unit, hematology department and clinic, gastroenterology unit and intensive care serving patients with the whole varieties of complications of fluid loss and electrolyte imbalance. General pediatric intensive care unit with high capacity including also post-operative intensive care.

Under supervision of consultants with great experience. The high flow rate in the O.R gave me great experience dealing with resuscitation for new-born babies of high risk mothers.

Spending there more than five years as a neonatology resident in the beginning dealing with different types of neonatal diseases from the emergencies in the operations rooms and providing adequate resuscitation to the newly born and the preterm babies to the babies with congenital anomalies, inborn errors of metabolism and different types of respiratory distress under observation of a senior consultant.

After obtaining my master degree I became a specialist in this hospital which enabled me to help in putting management strategies, infection control measures monitoring and helping junior residents to understand and accomplish their duties towards their patients.

Working there gave me the chance to work in a team work with minimal supervision.

Pediatric ward and intermediate pediatric care give us a hand to deal with pediatric emergencies in the E.R as status asthmaticus, diabetic ketoacidosis...etc. Working there under supervision of first class consultants in Egypt is giving me a great experience.

One of the largest specialized hospitals in the Egyptian ministry of health with a capacity of 850 beds.

Joining the team of pediatric ICU specialists is a step further in my career as a pediatrician and intensivist.

Our unit deals with different pediatric intensive care and emergency issues especially to the trauma and oncology patients as the institute contains one of the few pediatric oncology centers in Egypt and our PICU is the one responsible for their intensive care..

Working their gives me the chance to work in a team work leading a team of junior residents and highly qualified nursing staff and having the consultation whenever needed by the high standard academic consultants.
