Since January 1996 (about 23 years), I have been working as Professional Engineer on various civil engineering projects like Road, Residential and Commercial Buildings, Schools, Oil & Gas fields. Water Treatment Plants, Over Head Reservoirs and Water Supply System (MS and HDPE piping network) in Pakistan, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

At present (Since January-2016), I’m working as Resident Engineer in Techno Consult International Pvt.Ltd. (Water &Energy Division) since January 2016, at USAID sponsored project of Water Supply System for Jacobabad city, under the supervision of Municipal Services Delivery Program (MSDP) Govt. of Sindh. Here my key responsibilities are overall supervision to the construction of Rapid Sand Filter Water Treatment Plant, Lagoons, Over Head Reservoirs, lying of MS and HDPE Pipes, House hold connections, verification of Contractor’s claimed IPCs, updating Milestones, Finance of each Contract packages and resolving the local community problems etc.

Since 18th June, 2014 to 30th Nov, 2015 had worked at Mehar Oil &Gas Field as Construction Manager in Unique Enterprises Pvt.Ltd.a Project by OMV Company (Austria).Where my responsibilities were to look after the construction of residential & office buildings, various RCC foundations for heavy machines and trains, Storm water drains, Plain concrete passages and paths, fencings, watch towers and warehouses. Preparing the contractors claims, planning for labor parties for each activity, arranging and participating weekly, monthly meetings for progress and HSE etc.

About three and half years, I have been working with Umar Munshi Associates as Assistant Resident Engineer for the construction of Govt. schools in District Kashmore, under Reform Support Unit, Govt. of Sindh a World Bank funded Project, for Sindh Education Reform program. During this job, I have been monitoring and supervising the construction of school works from layout to finishing according to design and specification, supporting in preparation of BOQs, detail estimates, surveying of Govt. schools according to World Bank’s Standard, coordination between RSU and District Officials, justification of contractors’ claims and regularly attending various training work shops/ programs by RSU.

I have worked with Pipelink Construction Pvt. Ltd: (PCL) as Senior Civil Engineer for the Construction of Compression Plant Project @ Sawan Gas Field. There my main responsibilities were executing and supervising from layout to finishing the civil works for Turbo Compressors, Pipe Racks, Vessels, Air Cooler etc foundations & pedestal columns, Construction of E & I Building and the roads network.

With Al- Hashem Contracting & trading Co. Riyadh in SAUDI ARABIA as Senior Civil Engineer at mega project of shopping mall in Riyadh city. Execution and supervision the construction of footing, pedestal columns, shear walls, retaining walls, waterproofing work, {fixing of bitumen felt, water stopper in retaining wall and fixing of perforated pipe for drainage in basement}.

I have worked as Civil Engineer in UAE, for Sheikh Zaid Housing Program in Al- Fujairah state. There my responsibilities were execution and supervision for the construction of villas from excavation to finishing.

In Soneri Builders Karachi, worked as Project Engineer, at Soneri apartment and shopping mall project in Gulistan e Johar Karachi, where my prime duty was execution and supervision from excavation and layout to finishing of the project.

In Sardar Ashraf D Baloch Company, worked as first trainee engineer and then as Site Engineer at the Indus Highway project from Sehwan Sharif to Manjhand section. Here worked from earth work to asphalt paving.
